    Try AB AGEBE, AGEBE Stockholm or just AGEBE, these seem to be the same company, a quick search finds some literature for a Pioneer chainsaw, a Johnson outboard and a few others on 'tradera' Edit: Found this picture; I have lots of information to share, I am slowing adding them to the new manuals thread. Sounds like the O&R generator could be the start of a collection. David

    While editing all the 1962 O&R information I have for the "new manuals thread" I noticed that the service directory list for May 1962 mentions a Swedish distributor; Aktiebolaget AGEBE, 25, Luntmakargatan, Stockholm 3. David
  3. Did you confirm it was this type of generator the outlet was for? That's why I asked for a picture on the wanted post. Looks like it does and then the box was used for a conversion. The plug looks very much like one of the old round pin type rated at 2 amps, round pin plugs in several sizes were common in the UK (along with a couple of other competing mains plug/socket systems) before the 13 amp square pin system took over & became the standard. Having said that some round pin types are still available for specialist applications like theatre lighting. The box is just a metal-clad industrial mains 13 amp switched socket (receptacle outlet) & a steel back-box that can be used with conduit. I have lots of old electrical fittings, so should be able to find out if it's what I suspect it is. David
  4. My Tiny tor was on the old forum briefly, before the problems. It was bought in the UK from a local engine collector, who had tried to get it going but couldn't figure out where the small parts in the carb went, then the starter spring broke, he then offered it to me at one of the local engine shows. I've only seen one more in the UK since (pictures below), it was a buy-it-now on ePay that sold before I saw it. I'm fairly certain that Bakelite plug doesn't have flat prongs/blades like the NEMA one. David
  5. This is the NEMA 1-15R receptacle/outlet used in my Tiny Tor, I don't know who made this one. Another slightly different outlet in one of my Tiny Tigers was made by Leviton, Leviton don't seem to have anything available made of ceramic (that I could find), the nearest I could find was this plastic snap-in version; https://www.ebay.com/itm/232074774701 As Joe said a proper hardware store may have some older style ones, sadly they are becoming rare in the UK, my local one closed down in 2017.     You've reminded me I never uploaded pictures of my TIny Tor generator here, it has the American two pole outlet for 220/240V, perfect for frying 110V appliances if you forget to set them to 230V. David

Looks like I never added this one here (it was posted on the old forum), this Tiny Tor generator was the first O&R I acquired back in 2012 and it started my interest & my collection of these little engines. It's the Tiny Tor Model 30A (distributed by Algert Co. of Los Angeles) with a 220/240 volt AC outlet, as well as the standard battery charging output found on the similar Tiny Tiger generators. David

  10. The headline doesn't make sense either considering it was used after the war ended & last used in 1990 and has had several different owners since, then stored again after it stopped running. David

    Thanks, we all do our best to help & provide information to keep these little engines going. O&R's do turn up in Europe occasionally, although Sweden is not mentioned in the 1970's service directory list I have, it may have come from the nearest distributor, which was in Copenhagen Denmark. You may be interested to know that at least two of the O&R powered generators (the Tiny Tiger & Champ) were actually available with a nominal 230V output. Good luck with the parts on eBay, last time I attempted to buy from them they said it was possible too, but never modified the listing to add international shipping and because it required immediate payment I was never able to complete the sale (hence why I contacted Webhead).   12. Here is what looks like a complete (apart from the engine carb) Keene Engineering (of 11483 Van Owen, North Hollywood) water pump with the dredge fittings & sluice box (Model 1501). These pictures were permanently borrowed from ePay. It even had the instructions & parts list. David

  14. Nice find, I hope you can salvage some of the engine, but you at least need a replacement starter housing & sparkplug. I have an earlier version of that pump in my collection, I haven't got round to swapping the incorrect later parts yet. David

    Almost forgot, welcome to the forum. I don't think we have had any O&R's turn up from Sweden before, I'm interested to see if your generator is any different to those we already know about. Is there a make and/or model number on the generator? Those ebay links aren't going to help as they don't ship outside the US as far as I know. But I could possibly help with the cylinder baffles, but I would need some help to replace the them (I will PM Webhead as I after something too). David

  17. It's not from a Keene pump, I have one and it uses the standard "short radial engine mount" which the complete pump is attached to. I have started a new thread for the Little Prospector unit you found. David
  18. Strange the parts diagram for the Sno* Tiger doesn't give the engine type, but the pictured engine looks to have a gearbox which would rule it out. Was it this guy that had the bunch of O&R stuff? I've checked and I joined about a year after the sale post. David

  20. No, but I have seen another of these without the makers decal, not that I can find anything on the makers "Little Prospector Inc" on the decal. From what I can see on the linked site, the engine has a reduction gearbox driving the centrifugal concentrator bowl, this would have been fed with with sand/gravel and used to separate the waste & hopefully find the placer gold they were after. Of course all the waste sand, gravel end up in the stream, river or lake, which can cause water pollution from the minerals, hence why dredging is banned in some states. David
  21. No problem Clint, I thought it was a good idea as these seals only seem to be used on engines with the reduction gearboxes. Also it seems we don't have McMaster-Carr over here in the UK, I guess I should be able find something similar. David
  22. Oh dear, looks like O&R engines are now being targeted by steampunk sellers. Who knows what this Type 98 once originally came off; https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Ohlsson-Rice-Type-98-Model-Airplane-Engine-Custom-Stand-Steampunk-/192878744718 If you look closely you will notice the cylinder is missing the top fin and if that isn't a glow plug then I don't know how it will run, not that it would run for long with the massive gas tank provided.   23. Looks like a good replacement. Also I've changed the title to the correct name for this part (#7-46 gear case sealing washer). David
  24. I can't see where I posted the actual service bulletin, but I could find the above two mentions of the carb screen filter. I've left them in place too in any carbs I found them in, I think the above picture shows why they are actually a good idea, they clog to let you know the tank needs a more through cleaning. David

The gasket paper I have is KlingerStatite; https://docs-emea.rs-online.com/webdocs/0563/0900766b80563191.pdf Page 175 in the Klinger catalogue; http://www.klinger.co.uk/assets/files/Klinger Catalogue 2014.pdf It is rated to 120°C (248°F) & made from cellulose fibre (some websites say it is vegetable fibre ), anyway it sounds very similar to the stuff you have found.
