Happy Birthday Paul, hope you have a stupendous day!
-
might need a spoiler, front air dam, and solid tyres though. Nigel could do it
-
It looks like a 18 hp v twin might fit, lol

Mine are too, I recently saw a spat of these in several forums, but like I said the comments are meant to be humourous. Thinking about this makes me wonder if making these comments isn't just a way we deflect small amount of the blame, lol. I probably notice these things more because my wife and I live in a lifestyle where she does not work outside the home, drive, or make financial decisions. Of course under that system, I will always be the goat if things were to go wrong. She is unable to point those things out here only because she doesn't know my password and of that I am glad.

BTW, those two sets of tires were nearly 550.00 and I did not ask, nor need permission to buy them, nor did I ask when I bought the last set or the set before that, or the last tractor, or any other tractor or parts. I don't recall hearing it here, but on some of the other forums I hear this all the time: my wife wont let me...my wife told me...my wife made me. If this were true for me I would never admit it to my boys or friends. Hey listen I understand getting gruff from the wife, but my God men, lets not let the world be your confessional, have some pride. I would post this on the other forums, but I've already been banned.
EDIT: my comment is/was supposed to be humorous and/or inquisitive as to why people say the things they do. I meant no disrespect to anyone or to their spouses.

Yes they are directional and I saw that after I mounted them and changed the side they were on. great catch!

I took the 27 x 9-15 Maxxis Ceros tires on the 15-7 wheels off the Wheel Horse D-160 and put them on the Bolens 1476 in anticipation that I have another set of those same 15 x 7 rims that I may buy another set of 27 x 9-15 Maxxis tires and mount as duals on the 1476, so the wide 15 x 10 rims I got received the new 27 x 11-15 Maxxis Ceros tires and they went on the Wheel Horse D-160

Happy Birthday Ewan. Remember to cherish these days, for one day you will look back to that very special gift, youth.

I'm singing, Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. I would really like several 6-8 inch snowfalls, maybe a few more, maybe higher amounts
-
Really good advice, We don't have many ploughing competitions around these parts, maybe way up north. Its nice to know though even for a big garden. Thanks guys.
-
Great historical pictures. i really enjoyed seeing them, Thanks
-
Our soil is like that as well. Nice set up you have there. Is the front reservoir for just weight or for weight and fuel?
-
It as in the high 80's yesterday and for the the last few days, but for the next few days it will reach into the low 90's here in Oklahoma. We had an extremely mild winter last year and while not hoping for a harsh winter, we do need a killing freeze to take care of insects and I wouldn't mind some good snowfall to test the snowblowers.

Great pictures and video. Thanks for sharing

Thanks, I only have 4 trees on 20 acres so I'm not well versed the the arboristic arts
-
Replaced the coil, condenser points for 28.00, repair/rebuilt the carb with spares and off she went. II don't think it does well with green branches

The original Goodyears on the rear and the the lowest priced Carlisle replacements on the front said good bye today in favor of Kenda K500 Super Turfs. I bought the 24 x 9.50-12's instead of the 23 x 10.50-12's because I like the taller tire and the rim size only accounts of a 1/2 wider tire in the the 10.50 width, with a substantially better price, 150.00 delivered on the rears and 62.00 delivered on the front tires 16 x 6.50-8's. I took a comparison with the Bolens H16 rear tires and I think it is very hard to tell the difference in width. However, if I would not have been able to get the taller tires I might have been more hesitant about the 9.50's unless they were a lot less

Farmers did this to improve traction backing up
-
Good bit of movie making, you might look for a female costar next time
-
Thanks everyone, everyday I get up in the morning (and not at the Veterans Hospital) feels like a birthday
-
Bolens 15" rims in 10" width, yoohoo
-
So far a set of 6 hole 15 inch diameter 10 inch wide rims and a set of Duro Frontier tires in 27 x 11-15 tires for the Bolens 1476 rear tires, a set of 16 x 6.50-8 front turf tires for the Bolens 1256, a couple of cat 0 center link turnbuckles (2 for 32.00 delivered), a Wards 5 hp tiller, Savage long barrel 15 shot .22 rifle (75.00). I also received two deluxe dinners and two free passes on the adult roller coaster, no requirements added!

Really like the pictures, wish we had events such as this around here, but I think the cattle ranchers might string you up if you plowed and land up around here, lol
