Thanks Andrew, I saw the low hours, the dual brakes, rear PTO, three point, and finish mower and put a bid of 1100 on it, the other bidder went to 1000 and it pushed my bid to 1050, one more bid and he would have ha d it, oooh so close. Did you know the C and D wheel Horse tractors had thrust washer bearings under their spindles?
-
I only collect single cylinders, but I ended up winning the auction on this Wheel Horse D-200 twin cylinder at a very reasonable price. So now I see a Bolens HT20 in my future as well. Someone took two Brinly single gang discs and a Brinly three point sleeve hitch adapter and married them to make a nice double gang disc.

Should have used artificial turf to cover them.

What about freedom from harassment? This is really despicable. While British paparazzi may think their hands are clean, I think its safe to say the people doing this are doing so at the behest and remuneration of UK tabloids. Very sad

Nope not a set for a tractor, I actually bought new tires for the van. A set of four Kenda 235/75/r15 tires with mounting, balancing, free lifetime rotation, and road hazard 289.00

Ian's going Hollywood on us, lol
-
Thanks for posting these pictures Norm, it was an absolute delight to see them, again, and again
-
Mine are D-160 Kohlers, but basically the same. I will tell you the front 5.70-10 tires make it nearly one finger steering
-
Mine are too, I recently saw a spat of these in several forums, but like I said the comment here have been obviously tongue in cheek, not so everywhere else Thinking about this makes me wonder if making these comments isn't just a way we deflect small amount of the blame, lol. I probably notice these things more because my wife and I live in a lifestyle where she does not work outside the home, drive, or make financial decisions. Of course under that system, I will always be the goat if things were to go wrong.
Because you let her? Have you thought of not telling her the amount you make and just giving her the same amount as the tax man?

gophers dont stand a chance

With the election going the way it is here in the states I might be asking if you could sub lease me a space for me and my 24 tractors, might have a wife coming too, not sure yet, lol
-
That is really high octane, the gas in the states starts at 87 with ethanol at most places. In some states they sell gas with 85% ethanol, and the car manufacturers stopped warranty on the engines if it was used in the Flex Fuel vehicles it was designed for. Were lucky, in the country people wont buy that stuff.
-
That's why I only use real gas, 89 or 91 octane, with one ounce of Seafoam and 1/4 ounce of Marvel Mystery Oil per gallon You blokes probably can't get real gas, or maybe you can.

Seems like all I ever do. Working on the H16 carb, needs a new main nozzle, rebuilding and Allis/simplicity deck, tilling the garden, stacking some firewood, replanting some Aloe, and tomatoes, blah, blah, blah
-
Happy Birthday Paul, hope you have a stupendous day!
-
might need a spoiler, front air dam, and solid tyres though. Nigel could do it
-
It looks like a 18 hp v twin might fit, lol

Mine are too, I recently saw a spat of these in several forums, but like I said the comments are meant to be humourous. Thinking about this makes me wonder if making these comments isn't just a way we deflect small amount of the blame, lol. I probably notice these things more because my wife and I live in a lifestyle where she does not work outside the home, drive, or make financial decisions. Of course under that system, I will always be the goat if things were to go wrong. She is unable to point those things out here only because she doesn't know my password and of that I am glad.
-
BTW, those two sets of tires were nearly 550.00 and I did not ask, nor need permission to buy them, nor did I ask when I bought the last set or the set before that, or the last tractor, or any other tractor or parts. I don't recall hearing it here, but on some of the other forums I hear this all the time: my wife wont let me...my wife told me...my wife made me. If this were true for me I would never admit it to my boys or friends. Hey listen I understand getting gruff from the wife, but my God men, lets not let the world be your confessional, have some pride. I would post this on the other forums, but I've already been banned.
EDIT: my comment is/was supposed to be humorous and/or inquisitive as to why people say the things they do. I meant no disrespect to anyone or to their spouses.

Yes they are directional and I saw that after I mounted them and changed the side they were on. great catch!
-
I took the 27 x 9-15 Maxxis Ceros tires on the 15-7 wheels off the Wheel Horse D-160 and put them on the Bolens 1476 in anticipation that I have another set of those same 15 x 7 rims that I may buy another set of 27 x 9-15 Maxxis tires and mount as duals on the 1476, so the wide 15 x 10 rims I got received the new 27 x 11-15 Maxxis Ceros tires and they went on the Wheel Horse D-160

Happy Birthday Ewan. Remember to cherish these days, for one day you will look back to that very special gift, youth.

I'm singing, Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. I would really like several 6-8 inch snowfalls, maybe a few more, maybe higher amounts
-
Really good advice, We don't have many ploughing competitions around these parts, maybe way up north. Its nice to know though even for a big garden. Thanks guys.
