  1. I don't know many people with only one horse , congrats on winning the lawn Rangers Have fun
  2. Some real nice stationary engines there, love to see the various pumps & engines
  3. Those wheel arches look just right Ian, is there room to attach a tool box on the back?
  4. Going by the angle of the pics Chris , the frame looks to be a short frame blade for short frame tractors , which would coincide with the engine that you got as the dyno start engines were only on the short frame tractors '1966 to 1968 . If that is the case then I would say it's an extremely rare dozer . Great find mate
  5. Great find chris , the blade looks in great condition ,is the blade for a short frame tractor?
  6. Looks like it has hardly been used
  7. Nigel. This time I'm gonna take you up on your offer , I will get you some pics of the one that I want doing , i will be going to Essex in a few weeks and I will bring it too you .
  8. Ah ,so you bought that engine then , I was looking at that one too , some good spares on the engine.
  9. Charlie , Yes that guy bought it from me & he also bought the commando 8 from me , I didnt realise it was 1 of 5 demo models . Thank you for telling me that , I regret selling it even more now This pic was taken in 1958 at a horticultural show in Oxfordshire promoting the new wheelhorse RJ 58 I wonder if it was my old one . I know of 3 original RJs that still survive .
  10. Nige, don't spose you wanna restore a Trojan for me , I aint got the time or know how .
  11. Have you ever sold something that you wish you hadn't . A year ago I sold my RJ58 ,it needed a fair bit of work but was still a nice tractor and I ended up selling it for £50 less than I bought it for It still went to good home and I hope the new owner is enjoying her
  12. I like the fergy but a bit too pricey for me .

  15. Love the pic of York Mark , Ageless , no evidence of modern time , convert that pic to sepia tone & you could almost be in Georgian period
  16. Ah the fun dirty bit , still therapeutic ., wil it be sprayed or hand painted?
  17. She looks right at home with the big boys Tom
  18. Looks like a good project chris , pretty rare those ones . Did that model have wheel arch fenders???
  19. Once again another great video Ian ,
  20. Simon, would you do a thread on your Royal Enfield & if you have other interesting machines it would be good to hear about them
  21. We have some pill boxes down here in somerset dotted around the countryside. As a kid we used to play in the old pill boxes at Horchurch airdrome , building dens . Horchurch airfield was part of the London & Thames defence along with biggin hill & Duxford. Those were great days I used to live in Abbey Wood Lane , shown at the bottom of the map airfield layout. Even to this day my father often digs up old parts from a crashed plane that didn't reach one of the runways and crash landed two houses away.
  22. Some fascinating pic there Simon , I wished I lived nearer as I would enquire about finding them a new home, Love the Royal Enfield , is it yours?
  23. Simon, I'm in no rush to get it restored ,so when you get back is fine . It is showing a drake & fletcher pressure gauge , so I thought the whole thing was a D&F. But then it could be a weeks????????
