Some nice straight plough lines there chaps , looks like you had a good time,
Is that the freebie tractor you were using Chris?
-
Good job on the block work ,
-
I am delighted that it went to a fellow enthusiast and I'm sure Darren is gonna enjoy her, I only wished I had time to spend on giving the 856 the TLC that she deserves .
This tractor is very rare here in UK as I only know of 3 others , I'm sure there must be more out there but still they are are rare find.
She needs a little tinkering & a good cleaning to get her going but when she was is running she was a strong & quick tractor .
I was quite reluctant to let her go but I had just bought a new to me Pick up and so needed some fund to recuperate , but I am delighted that someone will enjoy the 856 as much as I did.
Here is my latest arrival
More on her later
-
I pick my new Morris minor pickup on Saturday , you made a lovely job of the restoration on your traveller .
-
If you google ( mini tractor pathe news ) you will see a video of the trojan in action with the tarpen flexi drive being used .
-
That's an awesome collection .
-
Beautiful house that sort of place over here with twenty acres would cost around half a million quid .
-
Ah nice garden & do I spy a bottle of dalwinnie scotch whisky hmmm .
-
Hiya Daniel .
Dad has some wonderful engines , I would be proud to just own one of those.
Thanx for the commentary & history of the engines , really interesting.
-
Happy Birthday Chris
I bought you exactly the same thing as I bought you last year
-
Alain, would you believe they even put the road direction signs on the wrong side over hear as well as the steering wheels .LOL
-
I went on a journey to Oxfordshire on Friday to collect my latest purchase .
Had to drive like a bat out of hell to get back sharpish so that , er in doors , didn't see another tractor arrive at the ranch.
The guy that I bought this from also had an awesome collection of Wheelhorse tractors including a suburban 401 , lawn ranger, and many c series tractors along with some awesome implements.
Luckily I sneaked the latest member of the Heard into the barn with minutes to spare
-
Great little collection , I have seen these being collected before , they fill them with those little polystyrene balls from bean bags to make it look like milk .
Cool
-
Let's hope you are rain free now for a while , have the flood waters receded yet?
-
She's a beauty Chris , don't see many 4 wheel trailers about . Love the old patina on it.
-
I feel your stress Alain , we too were in similar situation last year with local flooding .
I really hope you don't get too much damage & you are all safe.
The house in the pic surrounded by water is not my house but one of the neighbours .
-
Never ceases to amaze me what amazing machines some people have out there.
Great pics Norm
-
Sorry to have missed the show guys, but will catch up wiv ya tomorrow
-
I understand that the weather is going to be quite nice for the show this weekend.
Sadly I will not be able to make the show on Saturday or Sunday as my mothers funeral is being held on the Friday before the show so I will be in Essex over the weekend.
We will still be traveling to Yorkshire to spend some quality bloke time with Chris Sutton & Paul Mackellow but we will arrive on the Monday at some point.
Look forward to seeing you chaps and to those that I will not get to meet , have a great time at the show and hope to meet you at some time soon.
-
I used the same milliput to repair the steering wheel on my suburban , it's a great universal putty and is good to work with.
Nice job of steering wheel Ewan
-
Really nice Mark , I'm sure the public are gonna be all over that .
