The 1st I thought of when I saw your flail photo's was they look very much like the photo's I've just sent you James
Great things flails, I wish I still had my one..
-
It comes with instructions Chris
Hi Richard, yeah it was rather a wet day.. But the shack had to come down..
I can't decide of the bunnys have dug holes under the shack or if the just use it as a through route to the yummy grass
I will find out tomorrow when the rest of the shack comes down and the floor comes up...
-
I think if someone is that er... daft strapping a quad down, then standing back and watching would be the thing to do
-
That's a fantastic find Andrew, you seem to have the knack of finding them
Can't wait to see what you come up with next
-
And so the shack comes down... Mostly..
We didn't quite manage to get it all apart, by the end of a very long day it looked like a hurricane had been through the garden
-
Morning chaps, well today is the day the old shack comes down.. I just hope the rain goes away!!
Anyway I made a good start on stripping the inside yesterday, all the wiring is out and most of the interior panels are down.. And so far I've only found one mouse nest in the walls!
-
Despite the odd setbacks you have had Richard, you are most certainly winning the Yellow Mower Challenge
-
Just a quick update on the new workshack.. I've not had much time to get there and do much, but a productive day day was had Thursday.
With Nigel's help (thanks old bean ) we managed to get 2 benches up and some floor space cleared
I will get some photo's when I next get the chance to be there which is looking like Wednesday at the moment..
-
I had an idea where you might of got them Chris as soon as I read the title
They will look great no matter which 'Orse you put them on
-
Nice video Mark, though so some reason there is no sound!
-
Hi James, it's good to see you over here at MOM..
Have fun and make yourself at home
-
That's a nice find Paul.. Is there any Tarpen stuff you don't have in your collection now?
-
Good to see the handy Landy out and about... Don't forget, I will be just next door if you need a test driver
-
That's good news Chris, leak free is the way it needs to be
-
Love it, a fantastic machine Thanks for posting the photo's.. Do you have any "in action" photo's?
-
Congrats on finally getting your Bolens Andrew, she sure looks a nice clean machine
-
A bit late catching up with this, great video Mark... Bendy looks to have plenty of traction and a rather strong drive train to get all four wheels spinning
-
That looks like a well built bit of kit Andrew, I bet you can't wait to try it out
-
Morning all, as you know yesterday was shack contents moving day, and what a long day it was!!
I didn't take too many photo's as we were a bit busy, but here's a few..
My "extended bed" Saxon trailer with the first load..
The trailer being loaded up with a heavier load..
The shack looking a bit emptier..
The moving crew.. well, most of them.. Pete, Rob and Chris.. The other helper known as Mr Pickles did a runner as soon as the camera came out
I will get some photo's of the empty shack, but here's a couple of the slightly full new workshop.. I've got a bit of sorting out to do me thinks
So, a big THANK YOU to Chris, Pete, Rob and Mr Pickles for all your help yesterday, I couldn't of done it without your help
-
Are you trying to say I make the better coffee?
By the end of play today the shack is about 98% packed.. I just didn't have any energy left for the final 2%!!
Anyway, have some photo's of the mess
-
That looks fantastic Nigel, thanks mate
No worries Craig, it would be a bit of a journey for you to get here
Me too
Thanks Richard, yes I am very lucky having a good friend/neighbour called Nigel.. I wouldn't be able to do this shack move without Nigel's fantastic help, so thanks mate, your a star
The deal is Nigel has rented the new place and I'm renting half of it from Nigel.
It says.. The Shack Revisited
The bars on the windows I can cope with, not so sure on the seasonal lights though
A couple of photo's from yesterday.. The big bench is down..
Which means Project "Why Not" is a roller
-
That looks a fair bit of kit Chris, the cutting deck is a bit of a monster
-
That's sounding good mate. I will be over about 10.30-ish this morning to give a hand
-
Sold.... Once it has been moved and rebuilt the new owner plans to restore a Ford F100 pick-up truck in it which I think is a very fitting use
-
Sounds like your in for a fun weekend George, yep please keep us updated with loads of pic's
