You keep doing this to us Andrew... We need photo's
Seriously though a sickle mower is a very nice find, I bet you can't wait to try it out
-
-
Nice work Angus, it reminds me of when I restored an old Webb many years ago
-
Only the one photo today but the shack stripping is getting serious now.. Lathe dismantled and ready to be moved, and 2 benches dismantled one of which the compressor was hidden under.. I'd forgotten how big it is
The shack has a viewing booked in for tomorrow afternoon, and just had a call from a chap who thought it was a small shed and wanted to take it to Orkney!!!
-
It won't.. at least 2 trailer loads
-
Thanks James, it's looking like everything is coming together quite well
Yes it could well in interesting to see what comes out of both workshops
Well, a bit of a sad day in more ways than one...
Down came all the decorations that shacks collect over the years.. It feels strange in there without this lot fixed on the walls.. They all hold good memories for me and will be going up in the new workshop along with some bigger stuff that I will once again have wall space for
And of course....
More stuff boxed up ready to go, even more "shack boxes" stashed in the house!
Even under the big bench has been mostly cleared out and boxed up!
Now you may of noticed in the above photo's a big red something is missing..
Yes the 6x6 went off to it's new home today, here it is all loaded up with it's new owner Mark...
I am of course very sad to see it go, but I am happy that it has gone to such a good home.. To say that Mark is over the moon about is an understatement to say the least.. Yes he has been told about MOM and RS and promises to keep me updated on how he is getting on with it
-
It's all yours mate ... I will have to try and remember how it comes apart
-
Thanks Chris.. Having the log store as well?
-
A very nice machine Dave, have you any closer photo's of it?
-
If you have the logs then the log store comes free.. I'd only have to pull it down and put it in a skip when we leave...
-
I'm sure your work out where the bit's go Chris
-
A strange thing for me to sell, but yes I'm selling my log collection
I bought this lot for last winter (2 Toyota pick loads) but due to the weather being so mild I only used about 10- 15 of them!
Here's a photo of them all stacked in my log store..
Buyer to collect from Hawkhurst, Kent.. I will help with loading of course
£75.

By using the latest in hi-tech axle fixing materials..
Project Why Not is rolling once again...
The narrowed trailer axle won't be staying but it is handy for getting some wheels under the back
-
wow Nigel, your certainly getting shift in building this beast!! It's looking good mate
-
Ouch!! Not a fun couple of days Norm.. at least you know what the problem in now..
-
I will let you off, bit of a journey for you to get here
Don't worry, I am watching what I'm up to shifting stuff about.. My back's not in the best of shapes as it is..
Thanks Chris, I will let you know asap what's going on.
-
Hi Guy's, thanks for the offers of help to move the shack contents..
I get the key's to the new place on Monday and ideally need to get the contents moved asap next week..
So my question is.. When's good for you guy's?
-
That's good news about the engine not being seized Paul, your soon have it up and running at the speed you work
That is a rather funky shaped gas tank
-
Think of it this way mate... It gives your more time to work on Bendy
-
-
The exhaust sounds good Nathan, it looks like it's foaming at the mouth when it's blowing the exhaust stuffing out
-
You just can't help yourself can you Ben A nice find mate
-
