Thanks ian I really enjoyed the week, there was plenty off head scratching on this one what started out as what we thought was a strait forward job,it threw up problem after problem which led to more problems but we solved them between us and ime very pleased with the outcome. That turned a totally useless machine into a good working tractor
thanks george funny thing was we had a top match ploughman on a fergie next to us he was jumping on and off his tractor all day with poles and tape measure at the end of the day, his didnt look much better than what chris and i did playing, i think it was cos the dirt just crumbled
this was a stubble field norm when the disk was lower it kept lifting the plough out the ground, a match ploughman told us to
lift the disc on this type of ground and i must say it ploughed 100% better
great photos neil seeing that anderton and rowland traction engine brought back memeries ,back in the late 70s i worked for them on that noahs ark that used to be pulled by that, but that had long been retired and we were using scammels to pull the ride about
buy the end of the day we had chrisses horse ploughing well just needs narrow tyres and some wheel weights to make it surperb it realy suprised us both how good it was
nice find paul never seen one, but on looking close at the picts the front axle and wheels are the same as a huffy and ive got some of those front wheels if you want them ps, the pacemaker i sold to ben was the same as well
got to be the best video yet it must be cos you used a realy realy good cameraman this time who did"nt mind geting covered in mud and soaked to the skin
Put some wheels on it, then you could sit Pam in it and tow her behind your tractor with the dog sitting on the front bit, they would be able to see over the hedges looking for more old machines for your collection. Can't do smilie ime on er ipad
