They fetch food money, the last one I was bidding on went for £1700

unless you have a secret supply then we have to pay these prices...

Yep I understand that, but I think he said it had an old Honda engine in, and I thought I would have a lot of trouble finding the right engine for it, but as it happens the showmans got one for sale, I will look forward to the restoration of this one because ime sure you will do it to your normal very high standards and it will end up better than new.👍🏻

After 10 years of exclusive WH ownership, I’ve turned to the dark side.

picked this up from the Essex coast the other night after a mammoth 11 hour round trip.

it’s in average condition, not much rust. But has the scars of an engine transplant. It’s a tidy job, but they’ve chopped the hood and chassis...

    looking for a few bits:

    kohler k241 engine

    dunlop implement tyre 6-12

I nearly bought that mark, but I thought he was asking very strong money for it, nice project though 👍🏻

Superb job on that Nigel . Even more of an acheivement when it looks like it still has a V70 Techy with a series 1 Lauson carb!  and you get it running sweetly.

Are the secret of getting that engine running again was Angus ( wristpin ) he’s a genius with these, and he knows where to source parts for them. I would have got the hump with it and stuffed a Briggs in, 😂

Can you grind the weld off the pedal bracket and move the pedal out an inch. ?

No I’ve found out on the Jd 70 it has a bend from the carb to the air filter which would raise it above the pedal and then the filter sticks out at An angle, so I will be cutting a lawn mower handle up tomorrow and will make a couple of flanges up
