This weeks find at the honey hole was this cultivator for a ride on, its got one bar and shovel missing but I've got a spare from a previous visit.
Just goes to show there's still little gems there, you just have to look harder

On the literature i have managed to find it says that these were the Rolls-Royce of plucking machinery and claims that as many as 70-80 birds an hour could be plucked.
These machines were exported to many countries even Russia were they were used to pluck Penguins

A mate came round for a cupper this afternoon so we thought we would give the chicken machine a run.
Its a 1933 Comb Plucking Machine powered by a Stuart Turner 2 stroke engine and came out of an old caravan at Johns place after 25 years of storage

Making good progress Mark, the boys are doing a good job while you're away from the nest. Are you going to insulate the roof, it's going to be cold up there when you've got 2 foot of snow !!!

He's having a laugh Iain, the photos are over a year old i wander what it looks like now. On the other hand shipping to the UK is cheap at $76 but would i end up with a tractor or a book ???

Found my third plough and second front weight for my ploughing tractor, i dont know what the plough was from but it's Wheelhorse red which is always exciting
