A good turnout at the Lavender Line at Isfield station today, 24 machines and about a dozen exhibitors with a wide range of machinery. Many Thanks to everyone who made the effort to attend, be you local to the venue or a long distance traveller, your support is much appreciated Here's some photos... -
1 pointHere are several shots of the sickle mower that arrived this afternoon. It wa very well secured and well packaged. I took them in the dark so will get better ones in due course. It one of those things you have to buy quickly as these don't come up that often and I am pleased I didn't have to go through the uncertainty of eBay. Tomorrow I am collecting the 800 at long last.

1 pointThankyou for the link. Heres a couple of shots of the proposed engine, very squat in construction, so should give me a low bonnet line.. I know perkins badged some up a few years ago, so the quality should hopefully be ok, but its only going to get light use anyway.

The Start of Another Wheelhorse Project

Had a bit of spare time this afternoon so I refilled the tranny up with oil after i found the bleed screw to let the oil in, fired her up and surprise surprise it works. took a while to get going and purge the air out, but seems ok, well it goes backwards and forwards. next job to put the wheels back on and test it outside. (makes my eyes water with it running it in the shed)
