    Chainsaw Art

Bought this chainsaw carving from a local guy last year and mounted it up on my shed. Just thought it looked cool with the snow covered beard Amazing what some guys can do with a chainsaw.

Chris, I know selling them can be quite hard sometimes, so you don't have to sell them, why not try giving them away instead .... to me...

i dont regret selling any of my machines, i get my enjoyment from restoring or building them, i then ether show them or work them for a couple of years, and then sell them to fund my next project i have sold many including, 3 bolens 2 mayfield merlins 1 quadractor 1 jimshot loads of mustangs and many more i look at it this way i cant use them all and i know that every one i have sold has gone to a good home and gives a lot of pleasure to the new owners who havent got the skill or the time to restore them there selfs

    Bolens Husky 1050 Tractor

Dont like the hand painted decal. Maybe I should add D200 & that would make it worth more

Charlie , Yes that guy bought it from me & he also bought the commando 8 from me , I didnt realise it was 1 of 5 demo models . Thank you for telling me that , I regret selling it even more now This pic was taken in 1958 at a horticultural show in Oxfordshire promoting the new wheelhorse RJ 58 I wonder if it was my old one . I know of 3 original RJs that still survive .

    Ransomes MG6

Got the exhaust painted and fitted after modifying it, also the heat shield and petrol starting tank (this tractor is TVO) also got the fuel lines plumbed in with copper pipe. I have also fitted the brass plates I had made, not sure if I should fit the old Serial no plate and keep the new one for my next project or to stamp and fit the new one? Also started to paint the tracks, another job I hate but it's better than rebuilding with new rubbers, plates and bolts as well as painting them! I am also a track pad short😳😳 but Jonathan's sorted me out with a nice worn one to blend in😃 So I'm getting there, not long now until it's first run In a long time I imagine!

or you could conceal it in your clothing - "is that a tractor in your pocket, or are you just pleased to see me"

It would be somewhere arround 2600dollars

Around here the Massey 12 is a 500.00US tractor in that shape and that's being generous, The 782 on the other hand has a good following and would bring 750.00 or maybe a tad more, but nowheres near 1000.00, let alone 2250 or 2500 euros, Of course, I must admit I could be totally wrong about this since I really do not know what a euros exchange rate is, but I'll look it up.
