7 pointsWandering not waddling Thanks Andrew, yeah the pipes do look cool Paint is a little while off yet though.. Need to test drive it first Well, I've not managed to get much done this week due to a mixture of illness, visitors and having carpet fitted at home.. Both foot plates are now bolted down, I found some bike mounting brackets with captive nuts which came in handy and are much more fun to use than drilling through steel box.. This bit of box does not carry any weight and is only there to stop the top of the foot plates from vibrating.. I will add a little bit of bracing though. Er,,, more to come later as it now looks like I'm off to the workshop today! But here;s something to make you laugh, it did me... I ordered some air filters which arrived yesterday... I may of got my sizes wrong!

5 pointsTime for the rest of the update.. The hood stand has had a couple of bit's of box welded to it. Which along with a couple of hefty mounting brackets has put a lot of strength into it, no longer does it wobble when the steering is turned. The n/s foot plate has been fully welded and ground down.. I did for a while yesterday think about having foot gear change and a suicide clutch, but decided I'd rather have both hands on the wheel when the clutch is dropped at 9000rpm This is the mount for the suicide shift made for a bit of thick steel and a cut down bike swing arm bolt.. Shifter mounted and the linkage worked out, though you will have to wait until the linkage is done before you see it. The fender pan has been bolted down, but I thought a photo of 6 bolts would be boring so I didn't take a photo.. And to finish off this update, I needed to work out where the pedals would go so I climbed aboard, at which point Nigel wandered (not waddled ) in and grabbed my camera

My Solo Multimot collection
pmackellow and one other reacted to sten for a post in a topic
Just picked up a water pump to add to my collection of Solo Multimot accessories. From the 80's so are they classed as " My old Machines "?. You bought an engine then buy various accessories depending what you wanted. I now have 4 engines, a water pump, a chainsaw, hedge cutter and 3 brand new boxed hover mowers. I am always on the lookout for more. Would these look out of place at a vintage show ? I like them but they are perhaps too modern to show. -
2 pointsDug this out of the back of my shed today, my Easimow I restored a couple of years ago, a bit of rust showing through again, painting is not my strong point.

A question for the experts...I've been offered a C125..
nigel and one other reacted to Martin H for a post in a topic
Haha, now now, steady on...it was one of the things that first attracted me to it, I think it has a certain delicate charm. Who wants boring old solid panels when you can have such fine lacework... Seriously though, it is just the least important panels, well, sort of, as long as you don't lean on them... The engine cover is ok, I doubt whether I'd have bought it if that was riddled as well. Underneath it all it is a solid runner and the tyres are in brilliant condition. The exaust pipe arrangement worries me a little bit, but I imagine that could be sorted in time. I guess whoever did it had to loop it to make room for the belt. Interesting Stormin, recoverable you say. Is there a special kind of filler I'm currently unaware of? -
1 pointI'm new to this site and thought you guys might like to see my collection so far! Ive got two Mk 3 Trojan Toraktors and a field rider. The field rider is similar to a Mk 4 trojan but slightly better made Id say. It has a little Albion gearbox, wheel weights etc. no one seems to know much about it! All I know is it was produced near to where the Trojans were! It's meant to be the only one left!! It is the only one I've ever seen but there may be more out there!!! If anyone has any information that would be great! I also have a little tipping trailer and a small set of disc harrows! The disc harrows don't look a homemade jobby but if they are then they are very good! Again I know nothing about these!! Let me know what you think!!

1 pointMaybe a few of you can remember I put my beloved wheel horse b111 up for sale as I didn't have the time with a new born boy. Anyways it sold hated seeing it go but I still had my little mustang to play with. Now that's back up and running I was missing having a "big tractor" so after searching eBay for a few weeks came across this at a reasonable price and couldn't resist I know it's a wheel horse with a 12 hp Kohler and by the remains of a reg number I'm guessing 1972 but no idea on model any ways a few pics hope some one can tell me what I've got Cheers Darren If at first you don't succeed Use a bigger hammer

Picked up a few more accessories for my Multimot collection this morning. I already have the chainsaw and hedgecutter but very pleased to find a strimmer. Bought from the original owner who bought them new in 1985. -

Thanks Chris, and I wet the trash can down before using it as my paint station. Matt -
1 pointBracket made and fitted. Also top engine cowl, painted and fitted. Started to attack the bonnet yesterday afternoon and this. I say bonnet and not hood cos I'm English. Drill, flap wheel, wire wheel and result below. Some emery cloth work in less accessible corners etc. and the underneath may be primed and first coated by tomorrow night.

Fergie Road Run Trailer
BIGBucks35X reacted to nathanwhittaker for a post in a topic
Hi all. Well im fed up with having to put plant trailers and horse boxes on back of my tractor for the road runs for people to ride on, so ive decided to do up my old Fergie trailer with Bench seats and a Ladder ( for the older Generation) to get on the trailer. Also in the design I want the Bench seats to be removeable so I can get the Wheel Horses ( ) on to take too shows. I will be starting this soon so get ready for the photos and updates.
