On Friday we made the lift mechanism that attaches the box to the tractor. Here are some pics I put the floor in for a photo and a test drive, after taking it into our field and onto the rough ground I discovered that it didn't lift quite high enough for the terrain I would be driving over so some modifications had to be made. I made the bottom lift arms longer and by welding onto the sides of the old ones it made the box align with the bracket on the tractor. At least I know my drilling is straight, the holes are for the height adjustment. This is as far as I have got, the string imitates the link arms and we are also trying to work out a way for the box to tip.

At long last the 600 is on it way from the USA to the UK. Dave, aka Old Buzzard, posted me the original data tag which I got yesterday. All I need now is the actual tractor to put it on. Just hope OB not going to send me bits and pieces of the 600 as retribution for keeping it at his place for too long....

Continued today... belt tensioner adjuster first. Followed by cutting the keyways in the cross shaft. Had as a quick run round the garden, it works! but can't be used on C4 as I can't lift it off the floor... The belts and axle are in the way

Sprayer de-masked and back together this morning...

It's standing with the plough on and up now. I'll take it off the bench tomorrow and drive round a bit and see how it goes. If all ok I'll get my tame ex-BT mate to wire it up.

More progress today. Made up a lift cable for the latch. Took a bit of fiddling, thinking and time getting things to work as I wanted, but got there in the end. Latch end. T'other end.

Andrew, ID Tag looks good. I am just waiting to see if Dave put Norfolk on the tractor shipping address. I am sure that is what we agreed iain

Been a bit rubbish on posts recently. Looked up in the workshop and saw the hand cut out and painted enamel sign Ewan made me...

Now Ewan will say if you buy me a plasma cutter I can make more presents like that

Paul do you have any close up pictures of the bottle so i can have a look for some over here and show my uncle who does crop spraying, maybe he recognises the bottle to be of a specific brand and type
