Track off ready to remove side frame to replace brake drum, started scraping all the loose rust off, will probably go over it with a wire brush and leave it at that. Some bolts do not even resemble a bolt just a mound of rust!

Just after dragging from the barn. Dismantled for parts as no one was interested in it. The engine is still there with the frame. The steering wheel went to the south coast, and the ignition switch ended up in Norfolk. I'll leave you to guess who the new owners are.

G621 Very early Rote Ho Gem 1943

Whilst im waiting for a puller to arrive to set the timming on my other gem and with a view that the blaster may get round to doing the top frame sometime soon ( its only a week after he said it would definatley be ready at the moment) I wire brushed and etch primed the gearbox.

Well after a lot of blood sweat and tears literally, it is free and now that my mum and dad are on holiday for 2 weeks I thought it was a good time to drag it home and get it in the shed, everything is a lot harder when you by yourself! I am also on holiday for 2 weeks so will be making a start in between making all my meals!

Now identified as a Bolens 728 rear engined Lawn Rider of 72/73 vintage as below. Apparently in the States these were painted in yellow.
