    Ota monarch at tugwell

well its easy to understand this. At one time the wheel horse "demonstrators" were painted blue, then red when sold. It was a simple case of confusion.

    Hay time

Farmers gone mad in Hampshire trying to get hay done. I have been asked by the local farmer to cut a wild flower meadow down later on in the year so today I got the allen out and cut down the hay where the mower cannot get to ie. round the troughs and fence line and was amazed it started first go. Respect to the mower racing boys

I went to see the blmra mower racing which was being held as luck would have it in the village I live today, and I now have respect for the mower racing guys.. Why? Well Karl who is Nigel's son was racing today and was kind enough to organize for me to have a blast on a racing mower round the track during a 10 min break.. How these guys manage to do so many laps at such high speed over a very bumpy track is amazing!! After 3 1/2 laps my body had had enough of being shaken to bit's, but boy was it worth it Video footage was taken, but for now have a photo of me having a fun time.... Of course I had to drive a racing Wheel Horse

    Silloth Vintage Rally.

I did have the C-81 and C-125 entered, but as I did not get home from the farm till 11pm Sat night, I couldn't get them there for Sat and Sunday morning I was somewhat jaded. Grandson number 3 and I did pay a visit though. The days were hot and plenty of visitors hit town and the rally. Remembered my camera so a few photo's to follow. The motorcyclists were from The Isle of Man and they put on a fantastic comedy performance. Most of the bikes were Honda 50's. Couple of V8 hot rods. Something a little older. Stationary engines. Tractors. Horse drawn implements. Stunt riders. Syco. Getting a tow in wheelie bins. Finally some miniature steamers. Even though we were there by 11am taking photo's was a bit of a nightmare due to the crowds.

    Any idea who made this?

These pic`s are of some kind of weeder/cultivator a farmer friend gave me. I have no idea who made it,The bar across the legs has been welded on at some time. I have some more legs somewhere. With the bar off the width is adjustable. It looks like it`s meant for a walk behind of some description.

Lovely time with Neil and Carolyn

It's always nice to meet up with a fellow forum member, but it's really special when they live half way around the globe. Neil took a holiday to the U.S. and we were able to meet up at the Annual Wheel Horse Collectors Club Show. The time flew by and Neil was sort of like a celebrity because of how far he came. He's a great man, and Carolyn is a wonderful woman as well. We had some great conversation and my daughter Megan REALLY liked learning from a U.K. perspective things like food, people and of course Dr. Who! (long story, we only receive ONE channel from U.K and that is BBC America so our choices in shows are greatly restricted). Anyway, it was really great to meet him, and not just because of the distance! Thanks for visiting us here Neil!
