Managed to find just one image on line of the Alkotrac ride-on. The conveyor can just be seen on the far side and the frame for the collector on the back.

I have booked in my two ITW tractors for this local show on 2nd September, my neighbour and his friend are taking an MG5 and an MG2, both of which it turns out i have owned in the past. Nice friendly show which is fun to enter as my machines attract a lot of interest which winds up the showroom fergie owners.

Yes, it does not give the impression that these machines are built to last. I think there should be more of a focus on keeping good machines going, encouraging an industry of aftermarket parts like that of classic cars, rather than this idea of "just buy a new one".

You think there is alot of plastic on garden tractors, take a good look at some of the farm tractors made today, all the "sheet metal" is plastic.

Maybe the showmans new project ?

His Rowcrop just needs larger wheels. And a ladder so he can climb onto it.

    Recycled show board

Wanted a showboard for displaying my Wheelhorse's at shows and this is what i came up with. An old display board from work which I removed the stickers with a hair dryer, a coat of white paint and some spare decals that i had left over. Total outlay nothing and a bit of work and help putting the stickers on from Norm. A little different each side according to the stickers i had but really pleased with it.. Heres a couple of photos, what do you think ?

Bolens paint ?, that explains why it took ages to dry and it attracted all the flies and they stuck to it

Look really profesional Chris and Norm; particularly with the Bolens White background.
