  1. That looks a tad worn, Charlie. The Showman is away somewhere, but he may be able to help when he's back.
  2. How many power packs is that now? Four? What next?
  3. Just imagine if the Showman had something as big as that.
  4. It may not be. Been doing a bit of research. Could be from 1900 to possibly late 1920's.
  5. Do you think it will be big enough?
  6. Get in touch with Beaulieu Motor Museum or auction house.
  7. I've a pair similar in the workshop. Those where originally off a small bench seat. Painted them JD green about 2 years ago. Need to get some wood one day.
  8. Lithanode signs are selling over the £200 mark. I reckon that battery will be very, very rare,
  9. Lithanode went bust in 1900. That would put it at around 115 years old more or less? I'm just guessing mind. No doubt 6 volt.
  10. Look good in the garden with plants in.
  11. Workshop re-organisation to date. 8 x 4 Platform built with shelves on top. High enough to get a Wheel Horse front end under or implements. Fair bit of space to work now. From service door. From front doors. Next job is this corner.
  12. One of those, 'Seemed like a good idea at the time things', George. Have a look in Rural Past Times show report, Then say, "Idiot Sassenach's." Some lessons learned that day.
  13. I thought it best, Ian. Heating up the steel will have weakened it a bit.
  14. That's a very nice job you've done.
  15. Every thing's been moved over from the other side, Chris.
  16. They'd be scared of you, than you of them. Poor little things.
  17. Delivered SWMBO's Triumph Spitfire to it's new owner this morning. I now have MY workshop all to myself. Look at all that space. Started to build some storage shelving this afternoon. By 'eck it's hard work.

Does look a big 'un. But those rear wheels just don't look right to me.
