  1. I think Nigel got confused by the Showmans post. It'll be his age.
  2. I rather fancy a run down. Can't promise anything Chris, but send me a form anyway.

This has a 12hp engine, Richard. Most likely a replacement engine. The serial number is not far off my '82 C-125.

    C-120 refurb.

Get the decals right, Nigel? Just got the model right with Marks help. It's not an '80 C-120 after all. It's a '78 C-121.
  6. The EP90 I use is left over from my early Land Rover days. Used in diffs, gearbox and transferbox.
  7. I use EP90. Mainly because I have gallons of it.
  8. I've grandsons Charlie. Like to drive when they have a chance. But not work on them or put petrol in. I think a seat belt would be an idea. Plus a roll bar over his head. Just in case.
  9. Well done. Wish there was a place like that round here.

Thanks Chris. Already on my shopping list.
  11. Forgive me, but I'm a tad confused. Which or both? Or does it depend which model?

A few piccies for your titillation. As things are to date. Engine on my super duper, very expensive, mobile forklift bench thingy, ready for cleaning up.

It'll be black Chris, and decals are in hand. Silver bits? Maybe control rods etc?

    C-120 refurb.

Don't worry, Chris. I'll take some later. Now recommendations for paint for the cylinder block. Any suggestions any one? I've also to replace the track rods. The ones off the 121 are now on the 125, as it's were held together with cable ties. Going to make two sets with rose joints. You mentioned somewhere you made some, Chris. What size rose joints?

    C-120 refurb.

Fitted fender and footplates yesterday. Also drained the engine and lifted off and onto bench. By 'eck it's heavy. Removed tinware, carb, pump and starter motor. Next is to clean it up and decided wether to do the valves or not. It has compression, but is easy to turn by hand.
  16. Interesting machines.
  17. I'll be taking two, Johnathan. possibly three. No contest what you should take. The digger/dozer. I'll be up to see you soon, anyway.
  18. Was the one you brought back the dumper in the photo with the Whitlock? Me thinks I'm due a visit.
  19. It's the rigor mortise setting in that worries me.
  20. Congratulations Johnathan. Well worth the trip then.
