  1. Looks like it does. On a closer look it locates in notches to allow different positions.
  2. That looks to me as if it's for trenching, from the shape of the blade? Can't think what else it could be for with those tracks. Be useful with a grader blade or gravel rake. Can a dozer blade/snow plough be somehow fitted to the front?
  3. She wants it to go shopping.
  4. I've the only one I know off. A Sears/Roper. You can read all about it's rebuild by Alan on here. Step by Step Restoration. It's a 1978 GT16 with B&S twin engine. '78 the only year this particular model was made. Roper built tractors for Sears.
  5. Pam's done a good job of the lawn with it. You'd best be careful or she'll claim it. The photos really show the size of the beast. Fifth wheel on the back and a swan neck trailer next?
  6. You'll be lucky to find one over here. Any that come up for sale soon get snapped up. BTW.
  7. A bit of an up date. After I got the deck all built up, I noticed as it sat on the table, the right hand scalp roller was clear of the table, by 1-1/2 inch. I hadn't noticed when I stripped the deck, but the right hand side is slightly bent up. Discharge side. So it's all stripped down again and waiting to be taken to the farm round the corner. Lad there is a qualified motor mechanic and has a nice big fully equipped workshop. So we're going to see if we can straighten it with one of his presses.
  8. I didn't change them, Alan. Dropped them off at ATS. For a tenner a wheel, it's not worth the struggle with levers and mallets.
  9. Grand photo's and write up, Kevin. And that sprocket on the right looks a tad worn. Just one point. You should have posted in Ride On's. Not to worry though. One of our mods will move it there.
  10. Kevin. Whereabouts are you located? Can't help you I'm afraid. Sorry. But they sound interesting. Pop on some photo's.
  11. The rear tyres on the Sears/Roper where getting a little past their sell by date. A bit worn and cracking. Well they have been on there for 40 years. So I treated it to a pair of new boots. Deestone 23 x 10-50 x 12. That's better. Now all I have to do is find some suitable for the front. Maybe 5 rib or some sort of block pattern?
  12. That's good, Chris. You can get it out of the van now.
  13. Personally I wouldn't paint a cylinder with gloss or enamel paint. But many are. I use BBQ paint.
  14. Poor Dylan! He can only have a two course meal now instead of a three course one.
  15. Do a Showman. Extend down the garden.
  16. You'll be doing weather vanes next.
  17. Well it's not as if they'll be put to any serious work.
  18. Aww! Doesn't he look cute. Looks like we seem to have got infected within a few years of each other. Who was the carrier?
  19. Is it a motorcycle engine by any chance, Richard?
  20. Seven years for me and my first is below. 1982 C-125 plus cutter deck. Paid £75 for it. Only thing done has been head gasket changed. I had to make a new top for the deck though. Mows green and verges from spring to autumn. Keep telling myself I'm going to do it up one day. Sweeper came later.
  21. Got my first Wheel Horse by accident while out walking the dogs. That was the C-125. Found Red Square and met shall we say the Showman, Meadowfield etc. From there friendships developed and more tractors procured.
