I've just been given the show sign I asked eldest son-in-law for two weeks ago. Better late tan never I suppose.
-
Just a few wot I tuk.
And finally the weekend des res.
-
The Sears is now in it's new abode making friends with it's new companions.
I did find that the front spark plug was very wet and the rear dry. New set of plugs in and it's running a lot better. No spitting back in the carb.
-
-
I'm well pleased with it, Alan. It's running a bit rich but I'll be sorting that. Thanks for taking care of it this year gone.
-
Disco's white. Like my hair.
The Sears is now at its new home safe and sound. If a little wet.
-
-
I've told him you'll confiscate the digger keys, Alan, if anything is untoward.
-
All loaded and ready to roll in the morning. Hope to be on my way by 7-30am. ETA about 10am. Got to make a detour over the fells, as the main road between Wigton and Penrith is partly closed.
Just hope the weather improves.
-
Never mind Alan. I'll take good care of it and you can see it and maybe have a drive in August when I come down south.
BTW. I hope any tear stains have been cleaned off the bonnet.
-
Seventh photo, George. Is that a pike maker and elevator in the back ground?
-
So when I come down I've not to say, "Where's the Bolens? Lets have a look at it."
-
You had a good day for it. Hope you kept your eye on those dodgy looking characters in the second photo.
-
With the Newby Hall show coming up next weekend, I thought I'd better mention to Carol that I was taking two tractors, but returning with three. (Again).
Went down quite well. No need to or vocal outburst and flying objects or threats of GBH. I do now, have to supply decorating materials for master bedroom and lounge. Fortunately, I won't be doing the decorating. Carols department that.
-
Shouldn't Joseph have white overalls?
-
Looks like a good day out.
The 191? ex-army wagon would be great for taking my stuff to shows. Love it!
-
I'm going to sell my 9000lb pull winch as it's now surplus to requirements and has not had much use. Mainly used to make sure trees came down where wanted.
As you can see from the photo's, it has a steel cable in good condition, hand control, spare rope and snatch block. Electric cables have an Anderson connector.
The mounting plate I made myself, to fit to a Dixon Bate type trailer hitch, on the front bumper of my 90 when I had it. This made it demountable and could be removed when not needed.
I'm asking £150 for the complete kit.
Can be viewed at Newby Hall 10th - 11th June.
Or collected even.
-
Looks an interesting place. Bit off for me though.
-
I think the colour is the least of his worries.
-
Ye Gods! What a mess! Someone's got a right job on there.
-
If he takes it to Newby, you could strip it and take photo's.
-
I'll PM you my e-mail address. Much appreciated Colin.
-
Can I ask a favour of you, please. Can you PM me a photo of the bag, on and off the machine? Also dimensions of the bag? I may be able to make one up.
-
Your lucky it has the bag. I don't need another Billy Goat, but I do need a bag. I'd clean it up and maybe give it a lick of paint. You may get a bit more for it that way.
