  1. Ever thought of buying a shipping container?
  2. That rear engine is giving me ideas.
  3. Very nice, Harry. And very useful.
  4. All the Best Rhys. Have a good day.
  5. Heathergill Vintage Club are having their annual ploughing match on the 13th of March 2017. To be held again at Brisco, Carlisle. Last year was the first time a horticultural class was run. Although only 5 entries it created a lot of interest. So this year lets see more horticultural entries. I'm hoping the Scot's lads will be down again and bring some more with them. As we English, ie Jonathan and myself were out numbered last year, how about some of you English lads helping even things out. I'll post entry details nearer the date.
  6. Be nice to see it finished. Very nice job of repairing the wooden rollers/pulleys. Full marks.
  7. I've the Trelleborg's from BigTyres on the Black Horse. Check 121 rebuild thread for photo's.
  8. Pleased your ok Gareth. Hope they throw the book at him. Though most likely slap his wrist and say naughty boy, while dad pays his fine.
  9. All the Best Doug. Have a good day.
  10. I bet he was exhausted after all that work.
  11. Unless it's something from a personally recommended source, I only pay for what I can see.
  12. Seeing as every way from your place is down hill, not to mention your drive and garden, working brakes seem a good idea.
  13. I had the chance of a rotary brush off a road sweeper a couple of years back. Been kicking myself ever since for not getting it.
  14. He came down to our ploughing match at Carlisle last March. It does do a good job. Home made plough as well.
  15. Well done George. I notice the absence of a disc. Is the knife, for want of the correct name, better?
  16. Many years ago in my coffee bar days. a lad who had a Royal Enfield Crusader said in all seriousness, to a lad with an Ariel Leader. 'Quote' "My valves are bigger than your valves". Paul. You forgot the new bubble for a spirit level and a glass hammer.
  17. Elongated the holes in the brackets today and while doing so I had an idea. Instead of fitting the keys inside of the brackets, I fitted them on the outside. This made fitting them easier. All ready to test. The result after a trial run on the leaf covered lane past next doors gate. That was after several runs. I found going in reverse was best. Although it cleared quite a lot of leaves, it was not the result I was hoping for. I think there was two problems. (1) The leaves were soaking wet. (2) The rough nature of the lane. I think a better result would be had with dry leaves. Also on a flat surface like a concrete yard.
  18. Well done. You'll be one happy bunny.
  19. It's got yellow front wheels. I wonder what happened to the rear ones?
  20. I can oblige with a tow if required.
