My 1267 "Skonkfest" tractor has had a checkered past. I got it after my heart attack to help with snow removal at work. I t had had a stuck exhaust valve in the past. I found assorted other things like no carb base gasket, silly putty sealant on the breather ect. I repainted it last spring because I got tired of a pinkish tractor. It had run good since I had done some tinkering so I only replaced the head gasket and decarboned the head when I painted it.

On it's way to it's first show it had fouled the plug. I cleaned it and didn't think twice. It ran through the Big Wheel horse show parade with no issues but this winter it started fouling the plug again. so bad I had to dig out the crud in the plug. It got to the point where it wouldn't run longer than 15 min with out fouling the plug even with an anti-fouler in it.

I got a 14 HP K321 on the shelf of of an much newer tractor  but I wanted to keep the original starter/genny set up.

Ring gear needed to come off for the original shroud to fit:

Had to use the head off of the K301 for the correct bosses for the genny bracket. You can see all the oil on top of the piston and gunk around the exhaust valve. This was all cleaned up when I painted the tractor and is only a couple of hours of run time. I'm shocked that this really didn't smoke much:

Look at the build up on the plug and antifouler after only a few min of run time:

    New engine painted up:

    Ready to drop in:

Mounted on the tractor. This frees up the lift table to lift the tractor!

Running with different stack. I stayed with the smaller one.

The ploughing took place on an area of ground that used to be an open cast site. it was very hard, very stony , wet, and raining managed to help a new member of our group to set up his plough. some of the big tractors struggled as well as us in the horticultural group but all in all a good day

This is my latest purchase and arguably my favorite one yet. An aveling barford calf dozer, a very early one being the hopper cooled one and the original 800cc dorman Petrol engine. A beast of a machine and built to with stand the test of time. Due to the nature of use, usually these machines are worn out but this one is pretty good in my opinion. Starts easily and will run all day. Has the front blade with it and drawbar. Wanted one of these for a while and now finally have one.
here are some pictures for you guys.

Last year I bought an old DAF 66 estate locally. It's a quirky little old car that is powered by a 1.1 Renault engine with variomatic transmission. It will need some TLC on the sills. The colour is Tundra Green. These are photos of when I got it back in December and have yet to update the photos.  Very unusual to find a DAF, let alone an estate. I have sorted out the engine with a service including finding a new alternator. The DAF Owners Club is a gem of a club and have helped me out with a few items.DAF Hobby, in the Netherlands, sourced me the outer sills. Here are some photos for Koen's benefit.

My friend has some old Homelite saws and I know one of them is #1 real old #2 it's big. I even want to say it has a 36" bar and it screams when it wants to run. Another thing he has is a hydraulic driven two man chainsaw  . I think it's a Von Ruden . It's all self contained as one unit . There's a pump that hooks up to a pto and tank that sits on the ground or mounted. Two hoses go to the saw . The teeth on the saw if I remember correctly are like a 1/2" wide and the bar is 48" . Definitely something you'd not want to getaway from you  . I found a blurry pic of one in use and a smaller saw with tank pictured .
