  1. Tempted but decided to buy a Reliant Robin instead....
  2. Interesting machines those Lawnboys mowers. Look like they were well made unlike the shite they churn out today.
  3. I love that Panzer and the patina is just right. Will you leave it as it is or restore it? Having bought my Bolens 600 from Ohio there is something special about getting a genuine Yank GT from over the Pond.
  4. Fantastic photos and some cool looking vehicles there. I love that large silver truck. I have seen that Morris pickup a few years ago at Gaydon Heritage Centre but then it had a nice patinated burgundy paintjob at the time. I would still take it home though.
  5. A nice line up and looks like a good day too. I like the look of the Motorstandard Gutbrod.
  6. Nice set of gang mowers
  7. Great write up Alan! I did wonder what was behind all that timber and now I know......
  8. Thanks Kev for the prompt reply. It would be good to give the machines a run and a play somewhere out of harm's way. Keep us posted on that as it develops. Thanks
  9. Kev, Will there be an area where we can drive around but not 'work'the area? I know we can drive into the arena but is there a play area so to speak? Thanks
  10. You are doing a sterling job there George. Love those attachments too.
  11. That have come up really well Chris A decent looking machine too.
  12. You can get some good discount with the Halfords Trade Discount card; better than a poke in an eye! I hear Harry bought the other Toro.
  13. and I have not talked about the spelling mistake either...
  14. Good video Joseph and again I see that you are doing all the hard work. What does your father actually do Maybe your dad could get it repainted in the correct colour.... Ewan, I am glad your architectural skills are being put to good use.
  15. Looks fantastic Chris Are you keeping them both?
  16. A few weeks ago I mentioned that there was no real issues with Russia.... However, I was talking to a friend of mine back in Early February who son is in the Army and he said there appears to be a lot of Russian activities that is requiring monitoring. What those activities are, my friend didn't know. On top of that, we recently have had an attempted murder of a former Russian spy in Salisbury, a sleepy Wiltshire city and another suspicious death of another Russian businessman last week in London. What's happening, I just don't know but I think there is an attempt to divide Europe by targeting 'Billy No Mates UK' due to the forthcoming Brexit negotiations and thus weakening the EU. it is a relief that the some of the UN, namely, the USA, Germany and France are standing firm with the UK alongside Poland. We know that the Russian's economy is not good so this diplomatic incident may be a deflection by Putin to flex his muscles on the international stage.
  17. Well the Met Office got it right again regarding the heavy snow here in Devon. The A380 near Exeter is renown for it snow problems due to the steep hills called Telegraph Hill on the A380 and Haldon Hill on the A38. The snow here is around 12" deep in places and the main roads here are driveable but it getting access to those roads that is the problem. Here a few photos of the snow where we live. I am hoping it will disappears by tomorrow.....
  18. Good video Joseph of the 1054 in action.
  19. Got to say Fish and chips with mushy peas every time for me. Though I prefer Burger King over McDonalds when I do have a burger which is not often I am afraid due to the queuing. I see KFC UK got supply problems at the moment as over half of their restaurants are temporarily closed....
  20. It amazes me how owners can be so fickle with their pets such as returning a dog to the seller as it barked too much.... Absolutely crazy. Anyway, it gone to a good home now.
  21. I can see why people part exchange/ trade their cars when buying a new car. In fact over the years I have just set my cars against the purchase of the new one. The only exception is buying and selling classic cars,
