Another possibility, the 1964 engine parts list does mention a tan starter (it doesn't state what it was used on), but what about the two decals and the different chrome handle? Also did you have a tan painted gearbox half?

Asked if I could do something to save this Fuel Tap from an early 60s machine for a friend. I first tried to obtain the part as a spare from the manufacturers (Karcoma). They still produce them for various motorcycles etc . No parts available even though the design is pretty well unchanged.
The original little screw on Filter Cup is plastic with a coin slot and hex end to undo it. A mistake in design really, as they are likely to be over tightened, I suppose as there are no spare parts, they can sell more for replacement (up to £35.00 each) -
 

 
The cup is the 3rd fuel filtration process which will also separate and retain any water (small quantity) and has a small cylindrical filter which fits onto small spigots both in the cup and the Tap body, so I had to measure carefully to ensure it is not crushed when the Cup is screwed on, but that the seal doesn't leak.
 
I settled for Brass to make it, which allowed me to do all the work and produce and insert the small internal spigot, then Hard solder it in the exact position.
I also had to I.D. the thread form (metric 18 x 1mm) and cut it on the old Myford (imperial). After reading up on it, I had to do this by manual turning, as you can't disengage the 'Leadscrew' drive, or it will be misaligned!. All went well-

 
Fortunately, there were only 4 full threads and it was the first time for me producing them. 
To finish it off, I produced a new sealing washer from reinforced Viton rubber of the correct thickness. 
To reduce the over tightening factor, I added a 'reeded' finger grip area on it, rather than a screwdriver slot etc. All finished ready for years of use-

 
            

The parts from Bonnie arrived yesterday, as the '1000 engine rally' I was due to go to this weekend was cancelled (due to the field becoming waterlogged following heavy rain for most of this week), I had some time today to sort the parts into a spare drawer unit I got from work.
 

 
About half way through I went searching in the shed for a full width drawer for the above unit, I came back to find the parcel being CAT-scanned.

For reference here are some pictures of the cover that retains the gauze for the carb opening on one of my Aquabug's, looks like a new piece of gauze can be fitted.

I thought the O&R/AEP brochures section of the manuals sticky thread was looking a bit bare with only one brochure, so I've created two new PDF's for the AEP Series 13B & 20A engine brochures. Some of the fine detail is not great on these PDF's, if anyone wants higher resolution PDF's I will see what I can do.

Well it has taken a long time, but the new manuals, brochures, adverts & magazine articles thread has finally got all the information from the old thread added to it.

It's good to finally have all the information in one place where everyone can easily find it, before some of it was scattered all over the place in various different threads, even I was struggling to keep track of what had already been added.
 
Plus there is lots more that will be added gradually as time allows.

I have finally scanned & added the instructions for the late 1960's Tiny Tiger generator (Holly Products Corp.) to the manuals sticky thread, it can be found in "section 4: tool specific manuals".

FYI, I just bought an original 1971 Keene Engineering prospecting catalog that shows the Model 1501.  I’ll try to scan some photos when it arrives.

Here are some pictures of mine, the guy I bought it from did have the sluice box but as it got sold separately it didn't head my way, they didn't have any of the other bits though.

Here is what looks like a complete (apart from the engine carb) Keene Engineering (of 11483 Van Owen, North Hollywood) water pump with the dredge fittings & sluice box (Model 1501). These pictures were permanently borrowed from ePay.






 
It even had the instructions & parts list.

Thanks for confirming that Paul (and for adding pictures of the rest of the flyer), E.P. Barrus Ltd. were the distributor of Orline products in the UK.
Barrus are still going, they moved from Acton in London to Bicester in 1977 and turned 100 in 2017, an interactive history page is on their website here;
