Make your own rear fenders Ewan, i made some for a Trojan I restored ( thread on here somewhere) I'll dig the photos out for you and load them when my internet has been repaired, its easy and cheap.
you need a spare wheel well from a scrap car ( boot floor ) i used a vauxhall vectra , i can make you a cardboard template from the rowcrop that has the rear fender kit on, just mark them out and cut them to size

Keep an eye open on US EBay  fenders often pop up on there and most people are willing to ship parts , sadly the shipping costs can work out a bit juicy

I got mine at an auction, it was used a couple of times for demonstration, but virtually new. I paid 100 for it with the saw head attachment. I was worried that I might have overpaid, but I think they go for twice that or more around here. I had a Redmax that lasted 14 years with no repairs, so I'm hoping this one will serve me as well. I'll probably look into switching the string head out. Thanks for the input. The Cub seat looks fantastic, be wary they do fade even indoors.

Hi Alain, its the same model, we've had it for a couple of years and personally I think they work great, take a little bit of effort to refill with the trimmer wire but all round a great tool.

Another complete Skimmer has turned up, there is a guy selling a dumper on Ebay today and on the photos there is a skimmer in the background, I contacted him and he confirmed it is a skimmer and will be for sale, I suggested he sell them together as a working pair.

i was in the same situation as you Ewan , I wanted to have a round hood but they were rarer than hens teeth here in UK  so I desided to build my own using the frame from my old commando 8  shown below  , I had a hood stand ,fuel tank and other parts shipped over from US  but most of the parts you have will already work for what you are trying to do .
sadly I never got round to finishing the round hood and is now in bits in my work shop , Mabe one day I will get round to finishing it.
    good luck with your project

What model Stihl trimmer is that behind the Cub? Just wondering I just bought a FS70r and haven't had a chance to use it, wondering how well they worked?

Just a little update, after months of driving the tractor at shows and on our land etc. I noticed that the seat is very uncomfortable on rough land and so I bought one of these seat covers. I am very pleased, very well made and very comfortable!

Earlier this week I got round to painting the wheel weights I bought off Charlie earlier this year, I have decided to put these wheel weights on because they are cub cadet ones, the ones that came with my tractor will be painted white so some one else in the family can use them on their tractor.

So, yesterday I picked up the Ford 100 from Devon. It was a long trip and several delays meant it took even longer but it was worth it in the end. It was a pleasure to meet Andrew again for the 2nd time, even though it was brief as we needed to get going.
I had bought a few items at the auction near Andrew the day before so we went to get them first, we got loaded and strapped down and then went to Andrews, only to realize we had left out battery and jump leads at the auction as we needed to jump some things. Anyway we carried on going to Andrews and we went back later to get them. As I said it was good to meet Andrew again, and to see the Ford of course. We had a quick chat about it and got it loaded along with the attatchments. Our trailer was full to the brim and couldn't of got anything more on, some stuff even went in the car!
We went to the auction again to collect our stuff we forgot. We then left Devon to return home. Then this happened

This was not good and set us back 30mins in the end😡. Anyway, we eventually got home at 9:50pm and obviously was dark so could not do much. This morning I got everything off and had a play around. Managed to get the Ford firing but could not keep it running, fuel was not getting past the fuel pump, so I put it away as started to rain for next weekends project. Here are a few pictures.
