I have wanted one of these tractors ever since I saw a picture of one online, so finally I have one

I managed to find a person who imported tractors for a living, about a year ago I asked him if he could find me a panzer. A couple of months ago he did and a deal was done, it took five weeks to cross the Atlantic Ocean from the tractor originally being sold in Illinois.
On Saturday me and Dad drove up to shropshire to collect it from his Farm. I must say I am very pleased with it. Here are some pictures.

As you can see it has had some painted applied in an odd fashion, and I knew the original paint was underneath. So a few hours of light sanding etc  I managed to get the end result with a light coat of oil to make it shine.

    Thats very nice Harry

Do you subscribe to Lawn and Garden Tractor magazine from the USA ?

LAGT has had some Panzer articles in the magazine in recent times, and I'm sure they would be very interested to see that one has made it "across the pond"

While i was sorting out the first GMT I thought it would be silly not to have the other one.
Its new and never been used but hasn't got the collector kit and deck with it, it was stored in a shed with a leaky roof and had the transmission pump removed to keep the other one going,
After a few weeks of fiddling with the pump ive managed to repair it and fit it back in the tractor and its now up and running.
Concidering its been stored since 1986 it's not to bad.

We went today to the show, a long day leaving at 5am and getting in at 8:30pm but well worth it. Good weather although bitterly cold. A good turnout and much more people than last year.
These were a few of the things in the auction, lots of ransomes crawlers, the restored ones made strong money at £1900 a piece.
the Massey Ferguson mf7 made a jaw dropping £2700!
These are some pictures from the show itself.

I have just purchased another Gutbrod 1032 from a chap who’s friend owned it that has sadly past away. Unfortunately the front pto is in bits. It is the manual type and not the electric. I have the bits for it although I am not sure if all the bits are there to reassemble it. Can anyone help me with some pictures of theirs showing it complete?
    Thanks in advance

That looks to be in pretty good condition considering it has been outside for a long time. Have sent you a pm regarding literature.

Thank you HarryT. I would love to get a copy of the manual and parts list. Would it be possible for you to copy them? I'd be happy to reimburse you for any costs. In the meantime (Triumph66) here a couple of pictures of my
tractor just after I found it under a large tree!

Last Sunday I bought an old garden trailer for next to nothing from a chap up the road. It just fit in the back of the van with an inch to spare. I need a trailer to haul items from my yard to and fro from my van as the track there is very muddy and rutted. It is a particularly well made trailer with a hinged dropside tailgate. The tyres are in good condition too and there is a very rudimentary suspension system too. It rolls freely and the handle on the drawbar is a nice touch. The plan is to rub down the frame and repainted it in an appropriate colour. Might be a dark green metal frame or white. As for the woodwork I could use marine ply or old timber which I would sand down and use Danish Oil. I hope to use some old brass screws to secure the wood in place. The seller said there was a manufacturer plaque on the trailer at one point but sadly now disappeared for eternity. Does anyone recognise the make of the trailer? I think it will be look cool behind one  of my Bolens.

When the weather warms up I will be making a start on this project.

Back last summer while I was at a mates barn having a rummage, right at the back in the darkness I found a red tractor that ive never seen before.
After a bit of research I found that it was built by Toro for one year and because of poor sales was dropped.
The dealer had 10 and offered them at a deal and my mate bought 3.
Two were used for a contract that he had then parked up and the third is still new and not assembled.
The one I have bought is a Toro GMT 230 1978, It has a Kohler 23 hp engine, hydraulic deck lift and bends in the middle.
It was parked up in the barn in the late 90s after doing 170 hours work and left until I spotted it. After fitting a makeshift fuel tank and a good battery it fired straight up with everything working.
Have to say i'm chuffed to bits with it and sounds really nice, awesome thing to drive

Welcome to MOM. I have both the colt and the colt deluxe. Finding the gears sometimes is a bit all over the place and there is Hi and low range for the colt deluxe version.
I myself don’t have any spare parts for them unfortunately however I do have manuals and the original factory parts diagrams should you need any information.
