I vote for the pepper pot.  More in keeping with the style of the tractor.  Stack looks rather thin and tall and will need a bracket to keep it upright.

BTW. Did you make the exhausts or rob one of the two Steve's.

I did say it was only going to be a mock up, if i used a stack i would cut it shorter and put a support under it

Nothing looks worse than a stack pipe that isn’t straight

Oh very nice! You'll be having a test drive in  day or so. Excellent!

Still a way to go yet Norm, fuel pipes exhaust wiring and I’ve got to make control cable’s

  3. Started putting Ben together today and I needed a couple of shift lever boots, I found some on fly bay at £18-75 each :jaw:

Looking around in the shed I found a rack gaiter left over from a job that fitted perfectly ( with a bit of lube on the stick ) back on fly bay searched the number and a pair for £7-30 a pair , umm guess what. ?

  4. Just spent the day doing a few little jobs before painting begins and replaced all the transmission oil seals.

Nice little package arrived in the post from Machinery Decals, Titch is really top man for Wheelhorse decals, I’m really pleased with the.

I think they will really add the final touch to the build.

Fenders look good Chris.    You'll need to slow down with Bill and Ben though,  unless you have another project lined up to keep you occupied.. :yankchain:

Ive got a shed full of projects Alan but Pams also got a list and hers  is different to mine

Now they are nice, I take it your neighbor has a lot of experiance with glass fibre, I’ve done a bit myself but never managed to get a finish like that 👍🏻

He does a lot of reproduction stuff and did my roof when it blew off in the storm a few years back

Very smart. Lucky to have a neighbour  like that.

Now how about the pair of you doing reproductions? Could be a nice little earner. Only make when ordered.

Easy now we’ve got a mould

  8. And on to plan “B”, with the help of my neighbour took a mould off the original Sububan fender and added a couple of strengthening ribs.

Made one pair and fitted them to Ben to see what they looked like, I’m so pleased gonna make  another pair for Bill.

Even put red dye in the gel coat. :)

Bill and Ben are looking good mate, that's a cool wheel colour

Not sure I could cope with doing all the prep on 2 hoods though!

All the credit goes to my son Steve for the hood work,   Don’t know what I would have done without him

Made a start on the rear fenders, i cut the boot floor out  of a Scenic that my son was scrapping.

I thought I would get 4 fenders but not to be
