  1. Had a good day in isolation, Fitted the starter cup and it fitted ok also refitted the retractable starter on the other engine.

Ben got his belt guard modified and fitted along with  the pulleys and drive belt finally got his 4 feet on the floor so he’s moved off the bench.

    As usual a few photos

  2. Sorting out the front tyres from the back of the shed, I knew these would come in handy one day.

No prizes for guessing where they came from, :).

The wheels that i made I decided to put nuts and bolts through them although I welded them it’s just a safety issue, also found some shiny capped nuts to add a bit of bling.

  3. As  the sun was shining today I thought I’d paint the wheels and seats.

First job was to make a jig to hold the wheels as it’s difficult to hold them up with hooks while painting,

I’m really pleased with them and will leave for a few days to harden before fitting the tyres.

  4. Got a few bits done today, first was the lift handles, stripped and cleaned then 4 rear hubs and a few pulleys.

The fuel tanks were in poor condition inside and a bit of head scratching.Plan. A  acitone and pebbles and do the okey coney round the garden with one in  each hand, plan B tie them to the rear wheels of a Wheelhorse and do donuts round the garden, and plan C Pams tumble dryer, then. I had a better idea, a cement mixer, strap them in and drink tea for an hour.
