    We've got new neighbours next door and their hedge was growing out of control and blocking the sun from their garden,

    she said her husbands tool hadn't been used for a while and thought it would be inadequate for the job.

    Me being the friendly person i am offered to do the job for her and tidy it all up as my tools are frequently used and up to the job.

    end result was everyone was happy and she said a good job well done especially in this heat.

    I agree Chris. Could have done with being a foot or two bigger in diameter.

    There's 4 very nice large cast iron wheels, you could make your own Perkins badge :lol:

    Nice piece of kit, you could make all sorts of projects with that.

    all those pipes would be a plummers nightmare. :D

     Had to do a little mod to the Sears today. On the Saturday night drive around at Newby Hall, one of the bonnet hinge pins broke. Temporary fix with a cable tie kept things in place. When I unloaded on returning home, I found the other one had broken. Rough ground and 113 miles on the trailer proved a bit much for them.

     So this afternoon two stronger hinges where fitted. Need to be painted yet and that will most likely be done tomorrow.

    These should be fine if not as nice as the ones Alan made.

    I did 300 miles with it in my van and nothing broke, I must be more a gentle driver. :P
