I bought this Gutbrod 1030 2 years ago it was fitted with a norton villiers C45 stationary engine. the tractor 53 years old and engine was put in 49 years ago so as long as it goes it will remain Has anyone seen another like it The two 1032s are now fitted with hand pump hydraulics now I will see what I can do with Kermit the 1030 I hope you like

I've the same 1953 myford ML7 lathe as Richard, only with 3 phase and an inverter. I'm untidy though, so it's a mess

You have just got to find a use for that Chopper Engine Jeff !. Apart from the Myford (don't want to dupe my other Post/Thread here, I have a Tiny Plain Lathe with full accessories. Use it for Bushings and Model Steam fittings etc . Did use it initially to machine the front Wheel Rim Castings for my Engine. Rather untidy post , but here's a few old scanned photographs of the Micro Lathe and some other Myford machining shots :- ........sorry about the quality. I added a Used Light Milling Machine to my little workshop last Autumn (right of pic) , well worth it :- Reasonable size Table and will cope with my needs and Tools interchangeable with the Myford

I use the sea foam in carbs that need a little help or in ones that had some stale gas from sitting around a few months. It will not replace a good cleaning on a plugged one, but might help keep one from getting worse. For long term storage or complete non use of an engine, I would say to use Sta-bil or something similar. It keeps the fuel from going south and turning into varnish. It will not however clean anything out of the system. Another way to keep a clean fuel system is to use a few oz's a gal of lacquer thinner. I use this type thinner to clean carbs with and it will absolutely remove all the junk and gum, even the paint off the outside.

I use it for a fuel stabilizer. It does seem to keep the (already cleaned) carbs from getting clogged up as fast.

I've used it in my Onan 416. The tractor had been surging so I thought that I would try some Seafoam. I gently poured some into the carburetor and really didn't notice a difference so I ended up cleaning the carb on it which made it run a lot nicer. Then put some in the tank and after that tank, it ran like new again. Not sure if it was the cleaning or the sea foam, but it didn't do anything when pouring into the carb.
