    Ransomes MG2 number 137

Lots of small jobs today, made a replica of the Vokes air filter pipe, fitted fan belt, I have used a joinable belt on the basis that to replace the belt you have to remove the engine or at least slide it out of its mounting. Fitted the patent flash at the back which is 1/16 of an inch bigger than later ones of which I have a stock so Chris at Vintage Brass plates scaled one up for me.Timing chain cover fitted and logo painted. Bought some cycle chain for the starter mechanism only to find I had such a thickness of paint and filler on the sprockets that I had to file them all down to get the chain to sit properly. And Finally I have sprayed a topcoat on the engine cowl which has taken hours and hours of bashing, brazing, filling and sanding to get it to look as it should.

    Early Christmas Presents Part 2

Heavy is an understatement. I don't know of any tiller as heavy as the Bolens flatbacks

    Skoda fun pickup

Due to unforeseen circumstances I'm regrettably going to have to part with my beloved little truck. Now only on 52k ( one of the reasons I'm selling it is lack of use). Before I let the vultures on ebay have a go I thought I'd give forum members first dibs. Will come with brand new mot, cambelt was changed only a few thousand ago and has lots of old mots to back up the almost unbelievable millage. 3 sets of alloys included along with the private number plate. I feel confident in saying this is one of the best examples left, and I'm 99% certain it's never had any paint work in its life.

    New Tractor Workshop

Thats much better now, turns out it was a bad batch of paint that was causing all the problems.

I don't think anyone made a beefier 3 point than Massey. Both tractors will be spares, but the implements will go on running tractors. I pan on having at least one spare tractor for every two I have.

    Early Christmas Presents Part 2

The flat back tiller is a heavy beast to move around. I am hoping to get one off Chris next year if it all goes to plan. I nearly bought a H16 earlier this year but passed on it. Hope you get the third tractor, the Bolens 1476.

    New Tractor Workshop

Managed to find enough motivation today to make my way out to the workshop. Preheated the room and managed to get a coat on the floor which dried fairly quickly. For the next part i had to call in my father to give me a hand to cut in the walls and floor so i could concentrate on rolling on the paint before it started to go off as it was two pack. Still another coat to go on the walls tomorrow hopefully, and then a red band to break up the blue and white.
