    Mid mounted grader blade

Got the frames and swivel heads done. Couple of minor hiccups but sorted now. Been trying to work out a lift rod tonight. Things a bit tight. Going to move the lift bracket on the frame in the morning.

It's alive! I couldn't wait any longer. Gave it a dose of Alkylate fuel with 5% Castrol TTS (for the good smell). It fired right up after priming, but needed a few seconds to clear itself and stop running rich. I also tested the output which works perfectly, although not as powerful as indicated on the generator. It might deliver 300W at 110V, but at 12V it doesn't get near the indicated 12A. At 10A the output goes below 12V and if you load it even more the output just breaks down. Never mind that. I am smiling now, but my ears are hurting. Are these things loud or what! /Steen

So far I have been lucky as well, only one knick, but I put a nearly new Samsung Galaxy S6 64GB with three cases, two chargers and more for a buy it now price of 325.00 or a 200.00 starting bid. This donkey wrote me in a message and said he would offer 160.00 if I would pay for shipping. I was steamed and insulted. I blocked him and his ability to bid. One hour later a bidder makes a bid of 200.00 which knocks out the buy it now price. Funny thing the bidder had created his account just that day, maybe the same jerk and I banned the new bidder from making another bid as well and then made an addendum to my ad disallowing those with less than 2 eBay transactions from bidding and those with less than 10 eBay transactions need to send me verification of personal credit history. All items will be sent with tracking numbers and insured for the full value of the sale.

    Stormin's new tractor

It was a good day at Johns. Good to meet Alan, a fellow Northerner from Gods end of the country, and John at last. Managed to find one or two bits the vultures had missed. If I'd had more time and Chris's van had been empty, I think there would have been more than one or two.

    Stormin's new tractor

Nice to meet Norm today. He was just as Chris described, another nutter. Chris managed to get a few photo's when Norm returned to refuel. Most of the time it was a case of heard but not seen as he was plowing through the undergrowth. More of John's bits and pieces will soon be heading north. Thanks Norm.

Cub Cadet 100 and its 2016 outings

We have owned a Cub Cadet 100 for a few years after saving it from being turned into a racing lawn mower The tractor actually belongs to my better half Wendy who lets me drive it occasionally Here's some photos of its outings this year, Nutley Windmill, Smallholders Show and Rural Past Times so far, Tractorfest next weekend and then it hibernates for the Winter !!

Hello again, Got the tank welded the other day. I have tried welding some pretty horrible alloys during the years, but this one takes the price! The cracks in the tank was worse than expected, so it ended up in four pieces. The entire mounting lug broke of in three pieces, so it wasn't to easy to piece it together. While it may not be pretty, it's now in one piece again. I coated the inside of the welding using epoxy, so now I'm just waiting a week or so to let it cure. It's now looking like this: I think it looks quite decent now, but if any of you guys have a spare tank lying around, just let me know. I would like to get rid of that welding if I can. /Steen

Thanks for the informations. It might be 1963, as the reed block is aluminium, not plastic. Anyhow - I took it appart for a bit of cleaning, and while it is not NOS, it have not seen much use. There is no carbon anywhere: I ended up taking it totally apart and gave it a good rinse. This is the state now: The air filter was falling apart, so the foam is now removed and one of the insulating washes on the 12V outlet was cracked, so while waiting for one of my friends to find hos box of these washers, this is as far as I got. /Steen
