Here is my son enjoying running around the Cuttyhunk Island harbor with the small O&R outboard I had. It used to push my 3 kids and and 2 of us easily everywhere.

David, Thanks for the reply. It must be a 1hp (not labeled). Okay, I will search ebay for a intake cover. But it seems like it won`t be to hard to make one. What are my options for the diaphragm? I haven`t tinkered with this for awhile, but would love to get it running. I believe, I cleaned the carb out, replaced the fuel line and cleaned out the gas tank. It has good compression and will start if sprayed with starter fluid. This motor was given to me over 10 years ago with the manual. Unfortunately my 1700`s farm house took priority over all else.

I’ve toyed around with the idea of getting an ultrasonic cleaner, maybe some day... I should be done with the live the first week of Nov. and then the hunt for more O&Rs can continue...

We used tyre soap on the edges but it did help too much, I could not believe how stiff those tyres were. I will try some washing up liquid next time, thanks Thanks, the tyre machine is great although the cylinders will need to be rebuilt when time allows. Dad does hold the camera

I could hear you load and clear there, Joseph. I couldn't really tell on the video, so I've a little tip for you. When fitting tyres, smear some of your mothers washing up liquid round the tyre edge. Helps the tyre slide on and seat properly on the wheel. Just don't tell Mum and Dad I told you.

I have some of the little steel balls. I ended up buying a bag of each size. If you’re not in a hurry I could probably get you one in November. All my stuff is packed up for a move. Man it’s hard not being able to work on these things and look at them...
