    Rotaped Tracks

Sorting through some peat harvesting photos I came across this article about Rotaped tracks from 1941 I thought the Monro conversion would be of interest. Make a good project to build a set for a Wheelhorse. I have scanned it and will post first page to see if it works.

    Martin Markham Colt tractor

Managed to have a good go today at it. First thing was to see if it turns over and it did which was a good result. Next thing was to get a spark and after a quick clean on the points the spark was present. Put it all back together and turned it over, it fired but did not continue to run, must be a fuel problem I thought. After a quick investigation my thoughts were true. Got that sorted and it runs Quick play around and realized the hydraulics were not working, there was no oil, after a hunt around I managed to find enough and the hydraulics were working once again. This meant it was time for another play, this time with the loader. Overall i am very pleased with it and the hydraulics are strong. Pumped up all the tyres and found out the tears are fluid filled😀. Then this happened which stopped progress, the new tyres are on order and should be here this week hopefully
