  1. Here's a shinier outdoor pic and another from years ago, still a DOT.... Just a different one <edit> this is my dad - aka Norlett
  2. Never mind the genny.... I'm liking the control panel
  3. had a good think on the wiring - as it's all from scratch - here's the first scribble of a diagram then back to the rear drive - things have had to change over time. Need space to tension a belt as the rear axle now has a lot of articulation. Here's the idlers in place, waiting for the pulleys to arrive. The string lets me see how much tension is created by the axle pivoting. (giving away my secrets) and finally the calculator giving me the sprocket and pulley sizes
  4. Thanks guys!!!! I'm pleased with the progress so far, I'm at the trying to squeeze the last bits in phase. The rear drive so the axle floats, as well as wiring!
  5. Looking good James, bet it sounds good too
  6. looks cool - would be interested in a clear pic of the decal and measurements if you can... The last plough I did didn't have that one
  7. I'd forgotten about that thread, came out good in the end!
  8. Just to add to the confusion, how's about one of these?
  9. ...and a shelf for the Kleenex and wurthers originals
  10. they make an awesome dumper!!!!! I want one
  11. My magnum 16 - as cheap as it was is going to either be replaced or rebuilt over the winter. It knocks and smokes - and I can't see in the bore through the plug hole for carbon - it's so coked up. It does start and work though, so might be worth saving. Head gasket is on order - then I can pull the head and clean it, also maybe see if the bore is shot - pretty certain the oil rings are and maybe the piston - and possibly rod are gone... Anyone know of a UK distributor/dealer that does a fair price on Kohler parts? Import gets expensive from the US
  12. All better than my straight through on bendy, that's way too noisy...
  13. Low effort and practical.... Perfect
  14. Maybe have a few more days thinking
