    Get in line.
  2. There's an arts and crafts thing going on here, called C-Art. Various artists, potters, wood carvers/turners etc have opened their doors to the public. So today I have been driving SWMBO, who is of an artistic bent, around several studios. Some this morning and after lunch in a nice pub we know in Lorton, some more. BTW She paid for lunch. At one painters, with a '71 MGB GT in the yard, I got talking to her hubby. He kindly took me into his garage where resided a frog eye Sprite, Velocette Viper and a Moto Guzzi Monza. Sorry no photo's. No camera. But it made my day.

Carol said, if you don't know what to do with it, send it up here. Somehow I don't think she means it.
  5. This is going to be interesting.
  6. I agree. Variety is the spice of life they say. MoM is for everyone.
  7. One day I'll have to have a run up. Thanks for the photo's.
  8. Used the sweeper for the first time yesterday. Working great, as good as new, until a wheel came off. The wheels are held on by just a circlip, those horse shoe type. Hub cap still in place on the wheel and circlip inside that. Nothing lost. Replacing the wheel and clip, I thought the clip a bit loose, though tight to put on. Squeezed it up a bit in the vice, replaced and off we went again. Then the wheel came off again. This time the pawl that's inside the brush spindle drive gear had disappeared. Inside the wheel are two plain bearings and on close examination, I noticed the outer one a fraction proud of the wheel. This would account for the clip being hard to replace and not seating in the groove as it should. I tapped the bearing in until it was just under the outside of the wheel and the circlip groove just cleared. I removed the opposite wheel and used the pawl from that side, to make a replacement for the missing one. After some judicious use of a file and micrometer, a replacement was fitted tonight. All seems to be working OK, but
  9. Methinks you need a bigger shed, Paul. Not just a trailer.
  10. Nice line up, George. What's that to the right of the JD?

    Bearing.

I'm needing bearings for my Wheel horse C-120 trans. The needle ones are sourced. The ball bearing one is proving harder to find. So I've had a thought. Does any one have a trans that is scrap, but with the main case bearings ok? The size I want is an open ball bearing, (Not sealed) 2-1/2" od x 1-1/2" id x 1/2"
  12. A V twin on straight through pipes. Leave it as it is. The lady next door will love it.
  13. You'll need to hire a van for Newby the way your going on.
  14. That's a heck of a dip stick on the side.
  15. I was meaning the paint work, Paul. Looks solid.
  16. That's nice Paul. Pity the deck doesn't look as good.
  17. That is going to be looooong. Are you going for forward control, James? I would.
