I've known holes like that be brazed. A fabrication shop may do it for you. BUT! And it's a big but, wash the tank out thoroughly with water then run compressed air through it for a while.
JB weld could also be an option.

For road use we have to get them registered, road taxed and insured. Same as any vehicle that is used on the road. Can be a headache if it is an old vehicle that has never been registered.

I also took the head off the engine, here is what it looks like when I first took it off along with what the oil looks like when I pulled the dipstick after I noticed there was no more transmission fluid in the spark plug hole . As you can see there is carbon on the head......

Very nice Nigel. Perhaps you could have the whole inside sprayed with the foam used on potato storage barns, I don’t know what the cost would be, but I do know in my farmer mates barns, it’s very effective!

Survived last night with no drama, just a bit hard on the rum and tobacco.
Have arranged tele-handler and retired professional wood cutter from up the road to come and remove tree from workshop next week but will wait until Monday to see which day will be the best weatherwise.
