Rayp got a reaction from Triumph66 in I can't believe its finished!!!
I have finally finished refurbishing my C 160 Automatic and mowing deck.  The paintwork is not up to show standard but it shouldn't rust and it is intended to be a 'working tractor'.
IU am no engineer and the whole project has bee a steep learning curve for me, having never sprayed or completely dismantled a machine before.  If I ever attempt another it should be like shelling peas as I
think I must have already encountered 90% of potential problems.
I'm still working on the photography/uploading - the last photo should be the first.

    Hi Richard,
I just wondered if you had ever tried deox-c on small rusted parts like the silencer/muffler.  I've found it is brilliant for converting rust even inside inaccessible parts and interior seams.

For some reason, I kind of like that. Maybe the way the plough reverses and the head lights.

I confess I did not check Ray's part number against the parts list, I just noted the lack of description to identify it.
Yes, Wristpin's number 505 (BS46 system) directly crosses to my 'hunch' number 6 on the (US) Chart I posted.

Here is a handy size chart that covers DN6888 metric and BS46 imperial comparisons. It is a link to a UK company, as I was unsure if I am allowed to put a company's document in the the Files section here. You can download your own copy though.

Another excellent restoration!  Not only are there few people now who could make a quality item, there are even fewer who could repair one!
