  1. Tom, my original doesn't have the original 7 hp kohler, it has the 8 hp kohler the k181 I never done the engine swap but it bolted straight on with the same holes no need for modifications
  2. Hmmmm my guess is a Simplicity 725, or a 2210 garden tractor.......?
  3. I wont be hauling anything, it will always be empty its just something to tow behind my cub cadet at shows etc, seeing the solid rubber is still in very good condition I think im going to keep it on solid tyres Only time will tell
  4. Yesterday along with my plough and dump cart I also picked this up, I've been after something like this for a while, I know the proper job should be like them ones you see with two fancy great lengths of wood and cast iron spoked wheels all varnished and painted pretty! well, this is far from that, but its perfect for the job and I'm pleased with it, the blocks of wood its on at the minute are only supported with tool box caster wheels ( wasn't us that did that) and as you can guess they broke! so where it sits now is where its been for a while, at least now i can get it out more! with a bonus, it can be pulled by hand or one of my machines :D I've already given it a quick coat of paint I got some new wood to bolt on the top of the trolley and varnish it all up then sit the engine ontop... all to follow over the next few weeks hopefully!
  5. I also managed to bring back this little tipping trailer today, again I'm not too sure on the make? any input will be greatly appreciated, I've not seen them with the round pole chassis/draw bar thingy ma bob!? it's got lots of surface rust, but nothing many of hours sanding shouldn't sort out, but my plans with this are to paint it all up cub colours and add a few cub decals and pull it behind my cub cadet, I'm not sure weather to keep the solid tyres or change the wheels and tyres for pneumatic ones? Guys?!?!
  6. I picked up my new plough today, (well new to me) It's not a wheel horse plough nor does it have any makers name/marks but I am hoping to adapt it a little bit and get it onto the back of my wheel horse raider 10. I've been after a plough for a long time now, Hopefully start work after next weekend!
  7. Looking good, are they all free turning? Plough, Discs, got a nice little collection.
  8. I now know who can do my painting! Fastest painter in the south nice find and brilliant job
  9. PM sent Paul! I know you've mentioned entries are closed but I'm hoping it's not too late to squeeze in
  10. Great looking machine, like others have mentioned it's good that we've got friends across the pond willing to help out, if there's a little room left in that crate chuck a plough in there for my wheel horse im just kidding, I see a wonderful green 600 has just popped up on the bay
  11. Great little CC well done, good score! look forward to seeing more on this P:S If you get 5 minutes extra time, could I possibly be cheeky and ask for some close up photos of that rear hitch/lift assembly? I've got the lift arm just not the rest and I'm curious as to how making one would work out.
  12. Looking good Mark, It's all these little finishing touches that really make a machine!
  13. Very nice machine... looks like you have lots of fun on it too
  14. May not work in your case but a while ago i had a ride on that kept chucking the belt off due to some pulleys being out of line, we tried lining them up but didn't succeed, so in the end we made some belt guides welded and bolted a few all the was around, they didn't look too good to the eye, but they sure done the job, i assume that when the belt went to jump off it hit them and couldn't get no further and stayed in the V of the pulley.?? may be worth a try? makes changing the belt a little more difficult but can still be done
  15. Sorry its a bit late, Hope you had a great day Tom!
  16. Happy Birthday Ian, hope you had a good day

  18. Well done! that looks fab, how comfy is it to drive?
  19. really looking good now, all you guys do such a good job on these in years to come people are going to be unsure on whether these are factory builds or not!... cant wait to see who's going to start with the next weird and wonderful horse... always full of surprises
  20. Hello guys, This Briggs engine is on my new farmers boy rotavator, I was just wondering if any of you know absolute anything about this engine? model? year? anything will be appreciated
  21. Thank you all, not much of an update but pictures to follow tomorrow, as of yet the fuel in the system was smelling rather off and it was a bit gooey and gunky in the carb etc, so I've taken it all off washed it through cleaned it all out blown it all through etc, all ready to bolt back together tomorrow, and then have a look at getting it started, when I first looked I couldn't see a spark, nor did it light up my spark tester. however upon spinning the flywheel i did get a little electric shock from the end of the HT lead, but only a little small one,... might not need looking into, might fire up, but if not ill have to look into it.
  22. Indeed it does, well theres no harm in trying and finding out I guess although dont know if I'll have to get it online or not, or if somewhere like wicks or jewsons would stock it?
