  1. you boys are talking big money now I'll happily give him the last few digits for it,
  2. Hello Guys! I thought I'd start this topic off not only for me but for everyone else as well.... I was just wondering what shows are you guys exhibiting at this year..? maybe it will give others ideas of where to go as well
  3. You never stated what the wallet has to be filled with mines the fattest due to being full of receipts!!
  4. As you made clear above you've already got one you don't need two
  5. First time I've seen it.. WOW, what a lovely original looking machine, There will always be room over here for it feel free to drop it off anytime
  6. Will keep an eye out, is there any marks or anything that will help tell it apart? keep a check on that auction site aswell
  7. Coming along very nicely Ian, I cant wait to see the finished project.... stationary that is, because when its moving i don't reckon we'll be able to see much of it....
  8. I will leave that to Neil, or someone with a bit more authority than me, but i too think its a good idea, i go to shows down that way anyway so would love to do a little roundup
  9. Not sure what it is I'd like to say it's something like an old Bantam rotavator Bad pic quality... but...
  10. I don't know if you've seen this page already Paul. http://tractors.wikia.com/wiki/Martin_Markham Tells you a little info on the company, the models made, the attachments etc, apparently there was even a cement mixer attachment? I'd like to see one of them...
  11. Im in full agreement with you there Neil! lets try and sort something out for down the west country somewhere! you could count me and my grandfather in with 2 horses... would be nice to have a small horse meet up down here, as sadly I'm not driving yet and my dad doesn't fancy the drive all the way up north to the 2015 round up Im more than positive we could get enough wheel horses together down that way, or if not as mentioned above even a MoM section, any machine for mom members? good advertisement as well i guess
  12. There was someone with him who had a gold and white Bolens? was this you? if it was you, you also come over with him and had a chat to us? heres a few pics here's my cub its a 1962 "original" this is in the arena at netley marsh
  13. I thought it was, it has been the only one I've seen in person with a white belt guard and rear fenders with chrome lights... Is this yours? if so you may remember me. we camped just in front of you at Netley Marsh show 2014. you came over and had a chat whilst we was trying to fix my cubcadet original?
  14. Looking good now! Will you repaint and get a correct set of decals? Or will you leave it as is now? Also being nosey, what's the machine that you can see in the bottom corner of picture one? It's not by chance another wheel horse with with a stack exhaust and the number plate on the back reading "CLEO NO 1"
  15. Wow! Nice little machine I too saw the one on that auction site in Hastings, this one is in far better condition, am I correct in thinking they are slightly larger then the average wheel horse? Hope too see it out and about this year! PS: I got the small holders show entry form through the other day, cheers, ill send that off to you as soon as
  16. Nice wheelhorse to start a collection with.
  17. Thank you Everyone, Chris... roughly between 12:30-1:30pm today did you drive down Malines Ave. In peacehaven? Might not have been you, but looked like your sprinter?
  18. I Stand Corrected! the 'unnamed one' does in fact have a name, 'Parkside' and it come from Lidl yes you heard that right... it was from Lidl. and was half the price of the Draper one... not very good pictures, one day if someone reminds me, ill get pictures of our actual two, until then here's stock pictures, the only difference is colours, the parkside one is green black and red, the draper one is blue and black
  19. Me and My Dad both have air compressors, both 3HP twin motor 50L tanks, however one is.. shall i say 'unnamed' as such, it was cheap as chips i think something like £150 brand new from Aldi or The Range or somewhere like that, the other is a Draper and was more like £250-300ish we got them around the same time, they both came dismantled exactly the same way with the same instructions same warning labels... they are the same on noise, take roughly the same time to fill.. they are both 2 years old and still going strong admittedly the 'cheaper one' might give in first, but Its showing no signs of giving in! if you stand them next to each other, you would not be able to tell the difference, they are exactly the same the only difference is the colour... so I'm not sure quite what goes on in the factory's as Chris said my bets are on one company makes the tanks and fits the motors then they just get painted differently and different decals! .... but maybe it is true what people say... 'you only pay for the name'
  20. So... let me get this straight hes not selling like 4x4 kits of sorts, hes just selling the rear axle and peerless gearbox from his mower and hes telling people it can be used to convert to 4x4? to make the most of it, If you buy this $150 'RARE' axle and gearbox you've even got to remove it from the mower yourself? now that's a deal worth having!
  21. Happy New Year to you all, best wishes for 2015.
  22. Oh wow that's fantastic! Very nice build well done
  23. I found a post, that suggsuggests they are MTD's just badged up as lowes as that's the brand of store that sold them? But I'm not 100% sure, here's the post Someone there was saying the model codes etc match up to those of an MTD here's the post.. http://www.mytractorforum.com/showthread.php?t=234544
  24. I'd like to say it's got something MTD there somewhere, either way, nice find, I've never seen one
