Also had a small pressie from the 'postie' arrive today, all the way from Australia! Have placed the ones on the fuel tank and chain cover. Will fit those to the grass box in a couple of days, once the paint has hardened.

Should be a model 1-0300 then. Not an issue with having the 2 extra fixings for bolting the engine in, had to be done as the old engine is obsolete.
Your Tractor was the last of the 'Short Frames' and was actually a Transition model.
The Bonnet/Hood is the new (at the time) 'Long Hood', but the old short frame had extensions added to carry the New Hood hinges. 
 
The original Techy was mounted using an Adaptor Plate to get the right Shaft height and so the frame had very few holes predrilled for various engine types.

Found this little saw last week, its a Kennedy power hacksaw bench mounted and uses broken hacksaw blades and cuts up to 50 mm.
Its 110 volt and when I first turned it on i used a long stick as it had been laying around for a while but it works fine.
It soon goes through metal and is fascinating to watch.
All i got to do now is find a use for lots of 1 inch bar cut an inch long

I'm guessing it is for picture frames. Pretty cleverly designed. The clamping jaws look like they would push both frame pieces towards the corner as it clamps. How much do you want for it?

Here's a photo of my ex GPO van in regular use.

An old tool rescued from the skip at work about 10 years ago, I think I know what its use is but have no idea of its age.

 

It could be used for stretching elastic bands.. But it looks like something for hold to bits of metal/wood at a 90'd angle to each other..

Popped up to Northallerton to see John websters first show. What an amazing turnout, some great machines and displays too.

I think pre 61 cars are exempt from the MOT now, so it could be road legal 

is the Moggie van still road legal ?

Went to Shrewsbury Steam Rally today, the show in itself was great however its the last time
I will ever attend due to the last 2 miles taking as long as the first 65 miles due to the organisers
only opening one of the entrances to the show to the public and causing a two hour tail back.
(this is the 3rd time Ive experienced this ) and then having to que for another half hour on top
just for them to take my money! I even witnessed an ambulance with its siren on getting caught
up in the jam.
Any way heres a few photos of items that caught my eye, like I said a great show once you got in.
Particuarly loved the moggie van, its claimed to be the oldest RHD one, it was really nice to see one
preserved like this in original condition.

There were differences even within the Raider 10 range, i.e. 3 or 6 speed.
The Lausen Techy Engine spec also differed with Tranny type.
Raiders were marketed in U.S. from late 68- 72. They stopped using Tecumseh in 1971, so your Tractor will possibly have lights fitted as standard?. In 1972 they were an Option.
Magnum Engines were not used in WH until 86 after Toro got their hands on them and ceased using so many Briggs n Strattons. 
 
So if your 10hp decals have not fallen off, you can call it a *Re-powered Raider 10 (*a term applied in the U.S).
Put another set of decals on and it's your discretion  . 

I'm pretty rubbish at show pics these days, but here's a few from malham show yesterday.

Unless i's worth a shed load of money I'd keep it as a very cool conversation piece

12hp makes it a raider 12 now....
That's why bendy went from a 10 to a 16, curves and power in all the right places now

As far as I know Raiders were never fitted with a Kohler Magnum engine from the factory, so I'd say it's a Raider 10 with a good upgrade..  The Magnum 12's are good strong engines

Wish I had room to have a workshop like that
