  1. Glad to see it got to you safely. As you know I saw it at John's place last summer and it was up and running very well. The Bolens pushed a trailer connected to the front hitch and manoeuvred it with my wheelweights and round back tiller on it with ease to my car. I got a video of it on my mobile which I will post on to you. Another good find Iain and another saved too especially from Chris aka The Showman who unnerved me totally by saying it was a WheelHorse...... Poor old fella obviously confused by the fact it was painted red and of course it is running as well! Plus the fact he been desperate to find a working WheelHorse at John's place.

That's right; I just need a few parts to make mine the best!
  4. I thought you weren't buying any more?

    Bolens 850

When I popped into seeing Chris this afternoon. I set eyes on my latest Bolens, the 850, for the first time. I can't wait to get it back to my place some time to give it a damn good clean with a pressure washer and to carry out a light recommissioning of the old girl. Hopefully Chris will get the old engine fired up. Again, I am struck by how well made these Tube Frames are .

    Bolens HT23

I believe so but it's tax free but got to be road legal with lights. You need proof of when it was built by getting the serial# verified.

    Bolens HT23

I popped into Chris this afternoon and saw his latest acquisition, the HT23. What a cracking looking garden tractor; I want one! Also had a good snoop around his collection of Bolens and saw my 850 as well. The only downside is that I need to get more Bolens I got an 1886 coming so that should quench my thirst...
  8. Maybe BT are too 'Busby'! Poor service is now all too common. Hope you get it sorted soon.
  9. Another one consigned to the scrap heap
  10. That's a pity. Whereabouts in East Sussex was it?

    Bolens HT23

    One cool looking Bolens Chris.
  12. A good buy there Nick. Always useful to have a spares if you are not going to restore it.
  13. No as Paul bought a much better one than the one in the Hastings area and I see Ricboni's post is different to the one I saw last year. .Is that still available?
  14. Tom , from memory it was all blue and I can't remember if it did have a FEL on it.
  15. Yes I saw that advert on eBay last year and was tempted as my brother lives in Sedlescombe and could have stored it for me. Good find with FEL
  16. From Sussex? Not the one from Hastings last year?
  17. You done well to find that Tom. Well done.
  18. Nice log store! A good job done there Chris.

    wheelhorse 800

    That's a nice find!
  20. Great video Mark. Very impressed with what your WH can do on that sort of terrain.
  21. That's stunning work Ewan; you really are cracking on with it. Can't relax until I see the chassis painted in yellow; looking worryingly like your Dad's WH influence there......
  22. Isn't that so surreal. I parked my Citroen in Liverpool last night in a Premier Inn carpark to see John Bishop's Live Show and when I wole up I find one of my wheels was feckin' nicked. That look suspiciously like mine......
