  1. Saw those on Ebay and instantly recognized them as being cut from Eric out in CA. The blue check valve and the paper gasket material is an exact match for the stuff I worked with him on. It's nice to see them being offered again on ebay. Something I just never had the time to do. Curious if you would be interested in linking this forum on your ad? Ohlssonandrice.com will direct right to the O&R section here. We can help your customers with questions and direction for installing them. I have exact replica diaphragms for sale ,$10 each includes the paper gasket. Just let me know if you also need a check valve. Do you have any O&R engines yourself?
  2. Easy, get out your credit card and start collecting every O&R tool you can find! Your welcome
  3. Find another one. They are common and can be found. They get quite a bit of attention when I display a bunch of them too. Most people have no idea they even made 2 stroke powered tools
  4. After a catastrophic failure like that, my advice is to find another engine. To me it would be more dependable than repairing that one. The only thing you need on a different engine is the PTO crankshaft side needs to be tapered and have a threaded hole for the generator bolt. You will see engines with a shaft which have a longer round shaft with a flat side on them but if it has a bolt in it, that shaft comes off the tapered shaft you want. There's one on epay now but the guy wants like $199 for it. Nice engine but you can find one less expensive or buy that one and sell the extra parts. That gas tank alone might sell for $25 - $40 depending on bad someone wants it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-O-R-Ohlsson-Rice-Compact-Engine-w-Gas-Tank/323901552141?hash=item4b6a09760d:g:dN4AAOSwMH9dbAsu Look at the shaft, remove that bolt and that shaft extension comes off the tapered crank end like you need for attaching a TT generator head. If you search Orline on there, there are a couple of rods and bearings which might fit your engine but David @factory can help you with what fits better than I can. You'll probably need a new piston and head, all the gaskets and seals, rod and bearings. By the time you pay for all of that you could probably find a donor engine, change the diaphragm and be up and running for the same amount or less. Plus not worry about if that case piston head and other parts are any good,. Just my opinion. Once you tear it down and have a good look see inside you can make a decision on the best approach. I might have the parts you need to do it.
  5. Here's an earlier thread posted on compressors. The manual is also linked by factory in one of the posts in the thread
  6. You found the right place! You found someone looking for one too as I'm definitely interested in it. There are some compressors around but the compressors aren't common. There are certainly both more common and more rare O&R tools out there but they fall in the more rare spectrum. You can download a manual for it in the manuals sticky thread. Scroll down and you will see "Orline Compressor"
  7. I have a sheet of material and just need to send it to be lasered into little diaphragms. Me either, LoL. You got hooked up!
  8. If Just O&R can't hook you up, order the needle off ebay and I have the other half of the valve assembly. Joe @Webhead might have a NOS valve but he has sold most of his parts stash. I don't have many diaphragms left so best to get them off the seller on epay
  9. There are quite a few pics of those here on the forum. They are definitely more rare than Tiny Tiny tigers. Some are branded with different names and the one I have also has 12v DC connections.
  10. Joe added a link to the old forum in his ebay ads when we started. That was a major advertisement to drive people to it. Maybe contact the seller and ask? I'm just glad to see them being offered as I just don't have the time to do it
  11. Going from freeze land MN to the burning desert? Do you like extremes?
  12. Wish they made other attachments to fit the engine head design. It's very simple to attach and disconnect. Snowblower, brush cutter, outboard ect ect.
  13. Sorry Clint. I took these for ya a couple weeks ago but don't believe I ever sent them to you. The last pic is the shaft with the engine removed
  14. No (and yes). My guess is the crank case seals are leaking (like most) A 2 stroke can run with leaking case seals but for best performance the case needs to be sealed.
  15. Another nice find. With the popularity of those little Mantis tillers, I'm surprised we don't see more of these. Luckily the entire fuel vent is still on there. These were also badged under a few different names
  16. Webhead has or had one or two. Think he kept one and sold one but can't remember. Those things go for big money
  17. Yes. That felt washer is there just to hold oil. The original rivet has a hole through the center for adding a couple drops of oil (With the repair for the cup using a rivet or nut and bolt you won't be able to oil it through the oil hole anyway.)
  18. It may be badged "Powr Mite" but it's the same as a tiny tiger. The roller diameter is not that critical in my opinion. Use just about anything close and cut to length. I've used the metal rods which are for holding up pink insulation between floor joists. PM me your address and name, I have some diaphragms for $10 each. Having a good diaphragm is critical. Clean the points contacts under the flywheel and check for spark. I see some repairing on that coil so you want to check for spark. Leave the plug out and you can spin the flywheel by hand to check for spark.
  19. What a great find. Always nice to see an unknown tool show up. Become a supporter and have unlimited space. It's a small investment to help keep the lights on around here. Karl hosts the site and it costs money to do it and he doesn't go the advertising route, as so many places do. Click the "STORE" button up in the yellow banner
  20. Here's a video of Joe's @Webhead son with a Chicken Power
  21. That's a new and interesting application. Nice find!
  22. Not that I have ever seen but strange and unique tools tend to show up every once in a while. My guess would be that it's not O&R but... Could the thick rings be for a steam or air powered piston for something completely different than a saw? Just guessing as I had no idea they ever drove anything directly from a gas engine piston
  23. That's a nice find. AND you got all of the parts. Like many other O&R tools, they're branded under different names and this one is the same as a Chicken Power but the decal. Never saw one of those before. The muffler is different as well and actually a more heavy duty Nelson rather than just a thin can. Do you think the paint is original?
