This weekend was the Brenzett Bygones Show. Nigel and I had hoped to go for both days but WN was not running until Saturday afternoon so we only went Sunday..
A great relaxing day, lot's to see..
I didn't take many photo's but there will be a rather good video to come at some point soon..
Nigel for carting WN and myself there and back
-
-
That looks like a seriously fun machine
-
Morning chaps, well yesterday was a very good day with a parcel containing custom decals arrived from Mark.. Perfect timing as it happened as all we had left to do was get WN off the bench and put some fluids in her..
So, a big Mark for the great decals, the cream rather than white works really well
I guess now's a good point to do the "before and after" thing
As arrived from Chris's collection.. The green engine wasn't part of the deal, I just needed somewhere to put it
The same machine after a bit of work
All I need now is a better seat, get the engine running (fuel starvation for some strange reason!) and a nice sunny day to get some good photo's/video footage
-
Nice filler work Ewan, not easy to get right on things like curved fenders
-
A job well done there Norm
-
Nice work Ewan, the box will come in handy for carting all sorts of stuff about
-
I like your thinking Doug, all we need now is a video of it in action
-
-
A good use for scrap metal.. Nice work mate
-
A small world eh.. I was chatting the bloke on the JD row crop Thursday evening.. The JD was on a trailer almost opposite my house
Great photo's Paul, it looked like a good show..
Matt.. Your Cortina looks great mate
-
Thanks Woz, the paint will look even better once the clear coat has been flattened back and polished up.
You did indeed mate, thanks.. Thanks also for the wheel pinstriping
-
An interesting build Norm, I will be watching with great interest
-
Thanks Chris.
Thanks Norm.
Ta muchly paul.
Thanks Ewan.
You did have a rather large grin on your face Norm
Today has been exhausting.... Yep, it's sort the pipes day
Once all the extras for the non working flame/smoke making system had been removed the pipes looked a lot cleaner.
Only these two holes to sort out..
That's better, just the welds to clean up..
Out came a spare muffler so I could measure out and make something I've been planning to for a long time..
Before the photo's a big thank you to Nigel for helping out with the exhaust wrap, a nasty itchy job that left us with itchy black stained hands! So thanks again mate

I'm just off to the workshop but I thought I'd post this up first
-
I had a WH C-121 with an interesting PTO fix.. Someone had bonded 2CV clutch friction material to the PTO cone rather than the "clutch plate".... It looked wrong but it did work very well..
-
Nice work Ewan, the paint looks great
-
Looks like you all had a fun day
-
A bigger Kohler engine is certainly the fastest/easiest/cheapest way to go..
-
-
That looks an enjoyable way to spend a few hours
-
You don't want to use that... All your street cred would go down the pan
-
It's going to be an interesting project for sure
A few up to date photo's of the Cushyman for ya.... Not much has changed other than the wooden sides and a big sticker stuck on the front..
-
I hope you have not been encouraged to build something non standard and fun Norm?
Sooo, what's the engine?
-
Welcome to MOM Matt, it's good to see something different on the forum.. Your Horwool looks quite a clean machine
