  1. As it was a nice sunny day I managed to get the front wall done. First job was the bottom rail, I drilled through the concrete and fixed it down with 4 10mm x 175 mm anchor bolts then made a frame to attach the wall boards, I've put silicon in between the joints just to make it extra water tight. Just a pair of doors to make now ( when i get some more wood ). Here's a couple of pictures for Norm to look at .

  8. What about a rubber boot on the idea of a driveshaft boot but bigger
  9. Why don't you use belts and make a cover for them to stop the grass and crap getting to them

  11. As its been a nice and dry day I managed to finish the roof. Its had a good coats of adhesive and 2 layers of felt I warmed up the sides and used 80x80 plastic angle siliconed and nailed on then painted black as they only do white. Its all buttoned up and watertight and should stand the high winds we have here on the Southcoast. Next job is the front lower plate and make some doors.

  13. I dont buy paint off the shelf, I always have mine mixed by a local automotive paint suppier in 2 pack
  14. And finish the edges, i like to warm up the felt on edges to stop it cracking but the wind was so strong it kept blowing my gas torch out
  15. As today was dry ( well almost ) I managed to get a bit more done. Despite the high wind I've got the roof boarded and felted, i ran out of adhesive so had to go out which put me behind, ive got to do the edges yet but at least it should be dry. I'll load a couple of pictures in a bit for Stormin to look at
