Raider 16 4x4 articulated -aka project bendy
Ian and 3 others reacted to meadowfield for a post in a topic
Well someone challenged me (Nathan) and being the competitive type I got home late last night with getting bendy running... So I've been up since 8, bolting bits together... Thanks to Chris for the fuel tank and ian for the fuel pump. Here's the result of blowing fuel for into the carb and cranking from a jump start. Project bendy, Magnum 16 first engine start: -

1 pointHi all, I purchased a barford atom the other week and collected today and got talking to the guy as you do and ended up coming home with two barford atoms, spare engine and loads of attachments! A nice full trailer load! There is a tool bar with loads of attachments such as cultivating tines, potato ridgers and lifters etc and also an adjustable plough which are getting harder and harder to come by! The little mechanical gardener I bought previously. I would like to try and take one of them to a rally and test them out or just show them as they are very original pieces and I am very happy with them, one of them even has a belt guard! Tom

1 pointHi All, Picked this up today from yes you've guessed it. That same old barn. I have looked on the auction site and found one which says it is a Horace Fuller Ltd of Horsham, Sussex about a hour and a half away from me. Does anyone have any info on it ? Paul

rotoscytheben reacted to pmackellow for a post in a topic
Wendy and I went into Hampshire this morning along the scenic A272 to collect this little machine that I had won on that well know auction site Its a Landmaster Gardenmaster 34, not quite complete but with lots of bits including a direct plug in Tarpen drive (hadn't got one of them) plus a pair of tines, a spin weeder, a stand for when the machine is running a drive unit, another drive head and two tine covers There was another Tarpen shaft drive hedge cutter as well Not bad for £5.50 !! -

1 pointFinally got a good pic to post of my Economy Power King 2414. THe loader was home built. The uprights and arms were copied from the PK drawings and the bucket is a scoop hybrid. Exhaust stack was made from a Gravely muffler and electrical conduit.

Nathan, fill the gearbox with hydraulic oil and drive around a bit. It'll clean out residue gunge. -

Looks very nice indeed! -
1 pointJust come across your post. If you have not solved the problem then the fan from an old mini fits perfectly. You have to cut down the blades by about 25mm to make it fit but it works well. I bought two off ebay.

1 pointSpot on Ian. I see you got the spring mounts at the top. Fitting rear suspension?

Tractor & machinery magazine , how disappointing
diggerjames reacted to Triumph66 for a post in a topic
Slightly off topic but from the same stable as Kelsey Publication, I subscribe to Classic Van and Pickup every month. It's a great read and amusingly written. I have bought the odd tractor magazine when it appeals to me. The last copy of Tractor and Machinery didn't float my boat at all. I will be buying the American Garden Tractors Magazine shortly. -
