    footplate grip tape.

For those wondering what to use and on some models - how to cut the holes out. it's called grip tape and is used on skateboards - so easy to come by on that auction site. Cut to shape with old scissors or a stanley knife. if you need to cut holes, then mark them from the underside in pencil. I just traced round them on a flat surface after marking 1.5" in from the edge. I then made punch from a piece of chrome pipe - turning the edge sharp on the lathe, and then with a hammer on a piece of rubber mat they were cut through. and voila... Bendy has grippy footplates

    footplate grip tape.

That's what I've used on the C-81 and C-121. I've added a piece on the rear of the foot plate as well, to stop boot heels marking there. You can just see on the photo below.

Alan, I only spoke German and some French when we came to the States and when I learned to speak English it was without an accent. I moved to Indian Territory after getting out of the army to find people with little command of the English language in the form of syntax or grammar. I have however learn to master the dialect to a tee and can converse with the locals like I was "bornd hear".. Come on over everyone else has, it would be nice to get some illegal immigrants that could speak the language I think we could pass you off as Canadians man I'm killing it here today.

    JCB Beaver Hydraulic Power Pack.

Been cleaning up the pump on the beaver today, then started to sort out some of the hydraulic connectors. Lastly I repainted and refitted the power on demand valve.
