    New sign

Been after this sign for a few years now, the other day the boss said I could have it previously wanting £1000 for it! Rutherfords were a large agricultural engineers here in the borders manufacturing grain handling equipment, sheds ect, established around 1850 it went into liquidation in 1995. It has several branches, one survived in earlston however it shut down about a year ago. Anyway this sign has survived the building going through two sales and nobody removed it, it was obvious there was others around it but these were long gone. Will look good once the sparrow crap Is cleaned off, or do I leave it?

Thanks Andrew, that's a Kohler 16hp on it not a Briggs and Stratton, you wont see that often. It's a hydro with electric lift and I added LED rear tail lights and halogen front driving lights. I have a front dozer blade. rototiller, and deck with it also.

Another thing to remember with these rear mounted gas tanks is not to let it run dry.. They can be a nightmare to get the fuel flowing again!

almost certainly the pump - mine is lazy. Leave it longer than a day and it struggles to draw fuel through

Hi behoof. As you say, it could be the pump or even the fuel tap not sealing properly. I had the same problem with my C-125. I've fitted a priming bulb of a boat in the fuel line. Just one squeeze and it's away.
