This weeks find at the honey hole was this cultivator for a ride on, its got one bar and shovel missing but I've got a spare from a previous visit.
Just goes to show there's still little gems there, you just have to look harder
Don't be too upset, the U.S. government can't find 11 million Immigrant workers, but they nailed down the exact stall that contained the cow that started Mad Cow disease, go figure.
Chris caught in action recovering his latest find. Just look at his hands, red raw with the frantic digging. Like a terrier after a rabbit.
He also found a small blade attached to a heavy square bar.
Both items buried within a few feet of the barn doors. We must have passed them countless times. What next.
Thanks Alan, i must remember to wear my hat next time to stop the glare from your camera flash.
It was well buried and had a job to get it out of the ground but worth the dig
Many happy returns of the day Paul.
Hope you have a brilliant day with lots of presents and Wendy to spoil you rotten.
Is it 49 or 50 this year ? The old memory isn't what it use to be. 😎😎😎. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Here is a photo of my Grandfather(driving) with his first tractor. We think it was in the early 50's, go by the age of my mother and two uncles. I would love to have this tractor today but i think it was exported to South Africa. Is there any way to find out if it is still in the UK?
Another old photo of my mum when she was about sixteen on her way to feed the hens. Could you picture asking a teenager to do this today!
Another great find Chris. What else will you discover.......
Those gloves must be impregnated with WH Red by the look of them; whatever you touch will be red like that poor red Bolens at John's!
You can keep away from my gold Bolens for sure!
